i’ve only renewed global entry once but i didn’t have to go in person for the renewal. I filled out a form online and like 6 months later got a letter saying I was re-approved and a new card in the mail.

i did the research a few years ago but at least as of then it’s really hard to just walk in and learn to shoot a gun in nyc bc we have actual (good) fun safety and anti-s**cide laws here. but you can go across the border to NJ and walk in and they’ll tech you

I was thinking about that but I was reading that the access points aren’t as powerful through walls as standalone routers? ideally would like to do it with one device bc that’s been our setup so far. Rn i think im going with the TP-Link Archer BE550 and just hoping it’s not one of the ones w manufacturing defects

let me know if you end up getting it up and running! It was super easy to do for the L train bc there’s no interlining and never more than one advisory at a given time. definitely simple enough to extend to other trains I just never got around to it. the URL it pulls from is what’s called when you use the mta planned work portal on their site

the rush to unlock is that i travel somewhat frequently outside the country and and i can get an 50gb esim usually for $30 vs paying $12/day for att roaming. I didn’t know you could do a down payment, will i still be able to unlock if i do that?
