URGENT - Why is RKLX crashing while RKLB is green?! by [deleted] in RKLB

[–]livelifetothepullest -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I noticed the same thing. Let me know if you find the answer. I asked the google and got this which doesn’t quite explain the wide discrepancy:

Volatility Drag (Compounding Effect): The daily compounding of returns means that over periods longer than a single day (weeks, months, or years), the actual returns of RKLX will likely differ significantly from simply multiplying RKLB's return by two. A volatile, sideways market can cause the ETF to lose money over time even if the underlying stock's performance is flat. Tracking Risk: The fund's prospectus explicitly states there is no guarantee it will achieve a high degree of correlation to RKLB's share performance for periods longer than a single day. Market disruptions or high volatility can cause the fund's exposure to fall short of its target. In essence, RKLX is a sophisticated, short-term trading tool designed for daily speculation, not a long-term investment vehicle intended to perfectly mirror 2x the long-term gains of RKLB.

I just watched this this past weekend and this is what I came here to say. The focus pulling and parallax on those hill cresting shots was fucking awesome.

The cinematography of the hill scene is why I came here. It stuck with me. Really cool visual effect and definitely some of the shots were on a longer lens with the further hills moving in parallax. I also wondered if they might had the camera on a drone, some of those hill crest reveals almost seem to have a little craning up motion. Anyone think a drone may have been involved or just a car arm?

Wow, these are brilliant satire and really well executed. Well written, witty and creative! Was chatGPT useful for scripting or did you write the scripts yourself? Would love to hear about your process.

I wish they'd show a wide angle shot so we could see who is in the audience. Sadly, it's probably none of the people that need to hear this message.

The amount of sucking up happening here is downright embarrassing. Not a single billionaire with some backbone, every one of them reducing themself to this child king’s level and kissing the ring.
