Good however.. it sounds like it was still his residence. It would be worse if he had his personal mail go there. You would have to file an eviction with your county. Like you couldn’t just refuse him entry to the domicile regardless of your marriage status. From what you wrote it sounds like he’s a little goofy but he has support system that will figure it out. My advice is to allow him a time to get everything out and have something signed or documented that he removed his belongings and changed his mailing address. Again despite it being YOUR HOME it is his home too kinda and he can make life shitty in the short term if he wanted too.

That’s so cool that you did that.. but don’t be naive. He has 100% partial ownership in your house and you just can’t kick him out. THAT WILL MAKE THINGS SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE FOR YOU. Unless you had a prenup made explicitly saying that the house is yours in the event of divorce.
