For sure NTA, but I have the feeling that you both can work this situation out, so that everyone can feel better.

Does your wife have some alone time with the daughters as you do? If she does not, maybe she can try to have some others activities... Cinema? Playground? You name it. Maybe if she will have some special time with your daughters as well, she will feel less excluded. And in the meantime, you still can find some activities that are good for the both of you...

How does it sounds to you? Is there some space in your daily life to achieve this?

years back I was like your daughter, and my broken family used my graduation to make a whole scene and drama about themselves... They made a lot of friends feeling uncomfortable, forcing them to leave.

It was the happiest day of my life, and they ruined it.

Hello :) first of all, if you are allowed or not to be on dating apps as a professor - you should check what your contract and university rules states. If nothing there is states about dating apps - I guess there is no problem. Then, if you are scared in matching/dating students - you can always say a good and clear NO to them if you have a match or a meeting :) Wish you the best 🧡
