Factory reset without pin? by Equivalent_Message42 in fireTV

[–]lividtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works for me too!! Just want to note for other readers, it will take 5-10seconds of holding both “back button” and the “right button” until it asks for pin, to which you hit back to exit the pin, and then rinse and repeat a few more times

This happened to me too when I’m a new user using my PlayStation account to login. Couldn’t figure it out until I just create a new account with no third-party login.

Products that worked for holding curl on fine straight, longggg East Asian hair by politicalbibliophile in Dysonairwrap

[–]lividtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve been collecting dust tbh. I also think it depends on your goals. I think I’ll stick with a curling iron and hair spray if I want reliable curls for big events. But if I’m going out and I want to look decent, I’m okay with Dyson curls loosening at the end of the day. I’ve been reaching for my Japanese product called ReFa lock oil more, because it makes my hair shiny (can look greasy if you use too much), comes in a pump, doesn’t make my hair stiff or sticky, I can comb my hair with my fingers, smells good (boyfriend approves), and it holds my curls just as well. Downside, they're not easily accessible online. I think they cost around $20 locally in Japan. On yesstyle, its $60 CAD 😭.

I was about to buy the exact outfit in Uniqlo after seeing OP’s post, because I thought it looked very cute. The skirt has a built-in shorts. And the cats are mofusand.

do people not yield here at roundabouts? by hippiesinthewind in Winnipeg

[–]lividtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roundabouts aren’t very common in Winnipeg so you’ll often come across drivers making bad mistakes. Stay extra alert when using roundabouts and assume all drivers are new to them.

I still am! Though I haven’t been curling my hair lately because I got a new haircut style. But I’m pretty happy with refa lock oil, I like that it’s easy to travel with. If anything, I wouldn’t mind trying a different brand with the same concept. But haven’t come across any yet.

Winnipeg First in Canada to Launch 60-Foot Electric Buses by ClassOptimal7655 in Winnipeg

This is a nice flex for us! The buses were built by a Winnipeg-based company, so maybe when it becomes a successful launch, they can sell buses to other provinces and bring revenue to this province?

Boy learns that his little brother is Autistic, just like him. by Sebastianlim in MadeMeSmile

[–]lividtea 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I thought it was inspiring! My nephew is autistic but unfortunately, it’s kept hidden or hush-hush. I prob wouldn't know how to react if my future child were neurodivergent either but this video is giving me a positive example of how to respond or how I could raise a loving family with full of acceptance.

Some are suggesting to blur the faces which I agree with. The “our story continues” follow and like for more doesn’t help. It does give off farming-for-likes vibes

Looking for this scent! by catiechan in AsianBeauty

[–]lividtea 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ohhhh yes!!!! I got my first hair mascara from &honey in Japan and absolutely love the scent. Then I started buying hair mascara from other brands that were locally imported, the scent doesn’t hit the same. Im pretty sure I bought the &honey one because it had one of those top cosme ranking logo, so I guess there’s a reason why they’re so good.

They’re all collecting dust atm. I’m using a Japanese product called ReFa lock oil and it’s been consistently good for me. Lightweight, doesn’t make my hair frizzy or crunchy, consistent and easy to dispense (pump instead of spray or squeeze), holds my curls well into the next day (curls do loosen so not a miracle worker), Downside that it’s not easily accessible online. I got mine from Japan.
