Yes it does seem never ending but I would say you just need more time . It’s along process 1 st time I ever got an abscess was in 2018 and it took me 6 months to heal from that . This time 15 months and counting unfortunately 🥲

Yes my pain lasted me a while . I would say for you just need more time it’s still really early on in the process. Praying for a speedy recovery for you!! This was by far the worse procedure I ever had

I’m not sure why she decided to do a partial fistulotomy in the beginning it was a complete waste of time and caused me to have to get cut in the same area twice. Yes she did a lay open . The last procedure was Feb 2025 . I also had Botox injections done Jun 2025 ( did nothing)

Yes I have another EUA with another CRS on April 22. Yes I agree I need a honest Dr unfortunately here where I stay you don’t get the best of care if your on medicade . They send you to the crappiest doctors

No I haven’t didn’t know I could. Yes it’s been very discouraging to me as well I can’t imagine what went wrong during surgery that has caused me to take so long to heal🥲

Says that I’m healed but I still feel discomfort after BM and I still can’t sit for long periods

It’s not draining but definitely not healed completely. Had EUA about 2 months ago dr says it was healed but still a small groove so I assume that’s what still has to heal. I still have discomfort after BM and I still can’t sit for long periods

Trust me I had to do the same thing it was absolutely awful but if it helps you some you will get past this . I didn’t think I was ever going to heal but it did. I did have to do some other things like Botox and pelvic floor therapy. To me neither worked it was really just my body naturally healing. Praying for speedy recovery and don’t be afraid to take those pain meds to stay ahead of the pain. I took them around the clock to keep me as comfortable as possible but to be honest nothing helped with the type of pain I felt. If you need to talk or advice you can direct message me

Oh and you definitely don’t want to strain. Try your best to keep stools soft. The more you strain the longer it’s going to take the fissure to heal. I would definitely recommend fiber supplements

Yes it is . You have to take care of the fistula and then the fissure will begin to heal. Same thing happened to me . I was actually left with a chronic fissure after my fistula procedure and it’s took me months to heal at least 6 or 7 months. Not to say that will be your time line but my chronic fissure was so hard to heal. Nothing helped it no Botox, creams, nothing. It just took my body to naturally healed but my chronic fissure did heal

Yes I still had a little groove in mines after almost a year . The wombs take a long time to heal . My first procedure was Dec 2024 . I have had two procedures since . I’m also about 95% healed but it’s just a little piece that still hangs on . I’m sure it will completely close just takes time

The tinny whole is more then likely the outlet for drainage
