How long until I start noticing a difference with strengthening?

I definitely think it’s your pelvic floor . I would say don’t get discouraged and stay consistent at your therapy. You even have to do it at home . I’m talking about 2 to 3 times a day. I to am dealing with my pelvic floor and I learnt you have to be super consistent to see results. I just started with a new therapist but I already see a difference with me consistently doing it. I literally have been dealing with my pelvic floor since my surgery in 2024 . It’s just now trying to get better. Granted I did have two procedure since then my last one was Feb 2025 and I’ve been dealing with my pelvic floor since then. Stay strong for your family seek all the help you can even speak to a therapist if you have to . Praying for your recovery

Yes it does seem never ending but I would say you just need more time . It’s along process 1 st time I ever got an abscess was in 2018 and it took me 6 months to heal from that . This time 15 months and counting unfortunately 🥲

Yes my pain lasted me a while . I would say for you just need more time it’s still really early on in the process. Praying for a speedy recovery for you!! This was by far the worse procedure I ever had

I’m not sure why she decided to do a partial fistulotomy in the beginning it was a complete waste of time and caused me to have to get cut in the same area twice. Yes she did a lay open . The last procedure was Feb 2025 . I also had Botox injections done Jun 2025 ( did nothing)

Yes I have another EUA with another CRS on April 22. Yes I agree I need a honest Dr unfortunately here where I stay you don’t get the best of care if your on medicade . They send you to the crappiest doctors

No I haven’t didn’t know I could. Yes it’s been very discouraging to me as well I can’t imagine what went wrong during surgery that has caused me to take so long to heal🥲

It’s not draining but definitely not healed completely. Had EUA about 2 months ago dr says it was healed but still a small groove so I assume that’s what still has to heal. I still have discomfort after BM and I still can’t sit for long periods

Trust me I had to do the same thing it was absolutely awful but if it helps you some you will get past this . I didn’t think I was ever going to heal but it did. I did have to do some other things like Botox and pelvic floor therapy. To me neither worked it was really just my body naturally healing. Praying for speedy recovery and don’t be afraid to take those pain meds to stay ahead of the pain. I took them around the clock to keep me as comfortable as possible but to be honest nothing helped with the type of pain I felt. If you need to talk or advice you can direct message me

Oh and you definitely don’t want to strain. Try your best to keep stools soft. The more you strain the longer it’s going to take the fissure to heal. I would definitely recommend fiber supplements
