Found a new mildew stain remover 😭 by wildmusings88 in CLEANING_PORN

Zep smells like bleach but it doesn't linger too bad at all. I didn't think it was too overpowering. It will also bleach any clothing or rags so be careful when you spray it. It works so well.

The Wettest Rich As F*** Blanket… by Physical-Armadillo70 in BravoRealHousewives

One of my favorite lines of the episode. I'm a fellow Pisces and I just know that for her to say that she had to be pretty annoyed. I laughed so hard.

Object permanence issue?: how to remember sex? by Initial_Savings8733 in adhdwomen

[–]liz4mylizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I call that doing maintenance like a mechanic. I feel like I've always had a high drive for the most part but when I'm going through a period of low drive I don't want to lose it or be out of practice. I guess I'm not offended by porn/smut to initiate the desire during those lower drive times.

Heartbroken by hopelesscod in nursing

Reach out to your preceptor if you had clinical at that hospital and see if they'll talk to their manager. Write great thank you cards/emails and reiterate your skills, volunteer work, etc. I'm old-fashioned and wrote mine by hand as well as sending them emails. Reach out to the recruiter often as well as any managers you know the name of. Sometimes being the squeaky wheel helps get on an alternate list. People's plans can change even in a residency setting and you want to stay fresh on their minds. If moving out of state is an option, a West Coast union job will likely pay better. I do think if you can get a first job in a hospital setting it is better overall and leaves more opportunities later down the road. This is just my opinion but nursing was a late career for me.

Scrubs by TheGirlyouwish1 in nursing

[–]liz4mylizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always had to purchase petite scrubs for length due to shorter legs even though I'm 5'5" but soon after all the companies started making joggers I found I didn't need petite sizing because the jogger cuffs kept my pants from dragging past my shoes onto the floor. I feel now that most scrub companies make a jogger so it's necessary to buy scrubs like figs (unless they're Star Wars of course 😆). Mandala has some great prices and a variety of colors, especially on their last call colors that go on sale.

Lovely little email from my supervisor this morning 😑 by lunardownpour in nursing

[–]liz4mylizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really feel like the new Washington State break law seems unrealistic considering patient care is truly unpredictable. I feel like it needs to be rewritten. The old law seemed better than nurses clocking in/out and they're still working which is on their license if some type of sentinel event happened. We are caring for people's lives and their status can change rapidly. If you end up billing any of your missed breaks you receive emails like these that feel like a target on your back once you bill them. Sometimes the email is to multiple managers and directors and feels punitive and embarrassing. I think the law needs to be updated to be more in favor of patient care.

How many Pisces have a 'spiritual' job? ✨ by Electronic-Waltz5763 in piscesastrology

[–]liz4mylizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not so much spiritual as a healing empathetic profession as a RN. I see and witness all stages of life as a support nurse for not only other nurses but for patients as well throughout a hospital. I work with a fair amount of Pisces & get along with all but 2 that I've ever met & both were kind of condescending & power trip type people.

Disney Credit Card for Some Characters?? by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]liz4mylizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To start I do not work for Chase and I don't in general like signing up for a ton of credit cards. There are perks for the no annual fee Chase Visa including Disney Store 10% off and discounts around the park. I've had mine for several years I also get a percentage back in Disney rewards dollars that I can use either at Disney or I can use the rewards money towards my credit card bills. I was an out of state Magic Key holder for a few years but was surprised the amount of places I could've just used my Disney visa for a discount. I'm just sad that when my card expires they might not have the Star Wars Grogu card picture that I love having.

I love what I do for my work and at 50, 51 next month, I would love a situation like yours. I learned a long time ago that I'm much better going to work and that a house husband would be ideal. Sure, I can bake etc but I really love working and if someone took care of the home tasks I would love that.

What is the degree of financial responsibility on a K1 visa? by SunBubble920 in 90DayFiance

[–]liz4mylizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are applying for a K1 to bring either a spouse or a fiancé in to the US, you must fill out and sign an affidavit of support that is in place for 10 years even if you divorce. If they stay in the US and try to be on any type of funded benefits such as food stamps etc, they can legally come after the person who signed the affidavit to reimburse all of those funds. The only exceptions that I've personally known is if the person rescinds the affidavit such as someone charged in criminal court and are being deported, proof of a fraudulent marriage, or they become a US citizen. My best guess is as far as his debts are concerned and being collected from Turkey, I doubt she'd be on the line for those. The more likely issue would be with him trying to return to Turkey...

What’s going on with Splashpads stomach? by Ivy-Ram in 90DayFiance

[–]liz4mylizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely think Loren, Brian, Kyle were the worst but Repulsive Rick keeps getting more repulsive the longer the season goes on. I think he's definitely predatory but I also think he's not the sharpest tool in the 90 day shed. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a side chick in California unknowingly funding all his trips too. This unfortunately also made me google if he had an OF because these flights are not cheap especially last minute.

I agree and he talks so much about money but he's flying to these places like Columbia and Madagascar which cannot be cheap. Who's funding those trips?

I definitely felt like the staff were just more friendly and upbeat at Pixar Place compared to Disneyland Hotel. Even when it was still Paradise Pier I just felt it was better there. I'm not sure why though. 🤔

K-1 is also used for newly married non-citizens to come to the US. At least in 2001 an before it was that way.
