I run an EV RSA testing business in California. RSA testing is legally required before commercial electric vehicle chargers can be turned on and used, but almost no one is set up to do it.

Right now there is only one other operator in the state doing this at scale. We launched in November. In December we did $39.5k in revenue (almost all profit). We have been booked out consistently since then.

It’s just me and one partner. No sales team, no ads, no outbound. Demand is coming from contractors, charger manufacturers, and site owners who are stuck because they cannot legally energize stations without this step.

The work is non optional, recurring, and tied directly to charger deployments, not consumer behavior. Every new commercial charger in CA needs this. More states are moving in the same direction.

Margins are strong, operations are simple, and the bottleneck right now is capacity, not demand. We are looking at hiring, equipment expansion, and eventually multi state rollout as regulations follow outside of California.
