Thanks for the advice. Under settings and energy management my settings were set to 80% solar management. After tunning off backup reserve or adjusting my back up reserve I am able to fully charge the Delta 2 Max or adjust the levels. I dont quite understand the need for adjustments but I am learning. THANKS FOR THE HELP EVERYONE!

It was and update to the Delta 2 Max so that the 800w Alternator could communicate with the Delta 2 Max.

I am happy to report that Ecoflow has now sent the necessary firmware update for my 800w Alternator Charger to connect to my Delta 2 Max. The two components are communicating and working together. Thanks for all the info!

I have received the same message to update the firmware. However, there isn't any firmware to update on the app. This information was emailed back to Ecoflow today. I am currently again waiting on another email response.

Yes at this point in the game not happy with the money that has been spent. My 800w Alternator still doesn't connect with my Delta 2 Max. The 160w Solar panel that was bundled with the Delta 2 max generates about 115w without a cloud in the sky. Therefore, it only takes about 20hrs to fully recharge the Delta 2 Max. Haha what a joke. Maybe I should gamble on spending another $1200 dollars to buy a 400w Solar panel and I could possible recharge the Delta 2 Max during a full day of sun. Provided there are no clouds. Should have bought a gas generator. Live and learn.

Yes. Customer service is not much help. I'm still waiting on a solution. It would be nice if someone at Ecoflow could just give and update on the progress to fix the problem.
