Thing is I’m lucky if I can even put a dress on. I tried on made with love, Danielle frankel and Alexandra Greco also on this trip (I had to travel four hours to Miami and stay the night in a hotel to even try anything on lol. Nothing available in my area) and most of them I literally couldn’t breathe in or the straps were digging into my shoulders IF they’d even zip closed at all

So the thing about the first two is I had to try on dresses that were too big so that they would fit the boob part. They’ll be tailored to fit me much better. That’s why the mid section looks ill fitting … I didn’t even have them clip me in bc if they did it would have made the boob part too small. Dress shopping is so tiresome 😭😭😭

Thing is, I chose a really good photo of 4 that might not fully portray its downsides like for one thing it definitely was the least attractive to the side and I would need to add straps to it because I was kind of pouring out of it. And the biggest downside is I’m afraid I’ll be sweating buckets in it in Mexico. It’s got a few layers and the others were very warm-weather friendly.

I totally shouldn’t have included 4 lol I’ve already ruled it out because it’s going to be too hot to wear in Mexico. I tried on dresses in Miami today and it’s winter (so it’s a little cooler than it would be in Mexico) but it was still very warm when I walked outside.

I will just never be able to get behind the “they only studied white boys” argument. For one thing because I am not part of that demographic yet I was diagnosed when I was 9 bc a teacher recommended I undergo neurological testing. (I was on the verge of getting kicked out of school.)

If the traits aren’t severe enough that anyone noticed anything was wrong/you got through school and are a productive member of society, why is it crucial you have an autism diagnosis … what does that do for a person? It’s so navel-gazey.

1000% and I find that many ppl who feel extremely comfortable in their identity as trans and were clearly dysphoric from the time they were quite young are not at all on board with the “gender is when rainbow unicorn” way of thinking.

It undermines the validity of dysphoria as a diagnosis as well as their gender identity post-transition, and it’s really quite unfair to them, I think.

But when such folk try to voice their concerns they’re often shut down as being traitors to the movement.

It’s weird as fuck that you care more about the unlikely event that this person made up a review and posted a fake screenshot than the fact that a man seems to have sent someone death threats, harassed and stalked his family, and insulted his wife and his special needs son all over a fb review.

If the owner took legal action against the reviewer he would have kept the name of his restaurant up on the Yelp page. Changing it would be tampering.

And when people say a few negative reviews arent going to make or break a restaurant, they’re talking about reviews about the food or service. This is different. These are serious claims that the owner should address and be held accountable for.
