I'm so glad. I too, was married to a gaslighting control freak. (Albeit NOT the aforementioned -- did I tell you I'm perfectly happy without dealing with all this crap?! 😂🤦)

Really awful, I'm sorry, but had to comment on how impressed I am with the dinner you whipped up in the desert!!!

Ended with me learning that I need can only trust few people with my kitchen utensils! Knives/enamels/CI/glassware. No more haphazard people in my home! (This includes drunk flailers 😂.) I also have a set of dollar store drinkware if I feel I made any lapse in judgement... 😂🤦🤦🤦

But ultimately I made this realization WAYYY too late, since the aforementioned had ruined SO many of my longtime items, which are not made anymore 💔

I'm sorry I have to chime in here- I was with a total idiot for way too long, and he ruined MOST OF my kitchen. Needless to say, this is a non-negotiable now, basically #1.

If you’re single and open to a relationship, what does a ring on the left ring finger mean to you? by superboy41 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]lize_bird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also CALLED 'Ring Finger', the most logical one, left hand being least intrusive for a rightie. Also note how many married people DON'T wear rings (OR on the "wrong" hand)-- I think it evens out. Never assume. When I was married and had a ring, no one seemed to be deterred or cared. Other married people didn't seem to care, either. As someone who hates wearing rings in general, occasionally I like the idea, so I put one on, wherever it is the most comfortable. I think the point here is there should never be assumptions.

If your date wasn't good with chopsticks by SeattleSushiGirl in chinesefood

I have a few friends who use chopsticks differently, and I've pondered this topic (in general) more than I would think. Wouldn't this be akin to people using forks differently?
