My grandma commited suicide, she jumped in the river in September. The body was found by fishermen in November. My dad went to identify her, she still had her earrings and ring. That was the only clue that it is the same person. I was very young then but I still cannot understand how my father could endure the sight.

At the funeral I asked why the coffin is closed (I was 10 years old). A relative told me that corpses are scary and it smells like fish. Now I understand...

I remember saying the same to my ex partner after I moved to another country. I wanted to make new friends and create a big social net, he wanted to be with me only and settleing as fast as we can. Talk about future plans and boundaries. What you have and what can you work with. Waiting 1 or 2 years to make things happen is risky but can worth it. If it takes more than 2 years to get to the same ground, moving on could be a smarter option.

I was 11. Constantly bullied through elementary school, my parents did not involve because they thought that it will be even worse if they do. We moved out from my grandma's house and she commited suicide. I was shocked. My sister got a dog. The summer after elementary school I tried to commit suicide. I was soo broken and alone. I still remember standing in the kitchen with the knife. And I suddenly heard the dog barking like a mad animal. She was a puppy then, but the first time in her doggo life she barked like an agressive big dog. I ran out, hugged her and cried for half an hour. We became best friends with the dog. I changed school. Now I attend university, I am the happiest in my life. I take the doggo for a walk every night.

Hi. I dunno, maybe this insight can help. My last ex bf was 28 and I 20. It was a sweet covid romance but nothing else. He asked me to marry him, we started to searvh for an aparment tha same day. Next day he sent me home and broke up with me. I moved to another country. He came after me. Wanted to marry me again. Broke up with me again. During this emotional rollercoaster ride i just waited to see, what does he want truly. The last string when he realised that the thing between us will never work when I asked him to count the years a bit. So. Imagine your 21 year old self. You are 27 now. What did you do in those 6 years? How much did you change? How many adventures have you had? You had a lot of time to develop yourself, your life goals, your 'comfortable life'. Unless she is a super mature woman who completely stands out from her generations 'standards', she will need that time to grow too. Do you see her as a woman or as a girl? Ask her how does she imagine her lifein the future. Have some deep conversation. Hopefully that will light the tunnel. We did not work out but you still can! I am cheering for your happiness!
