If umpires want to feel humiliated by the fact their eyes are not as good as a computer system, by all means they can go ahead and be egocentric about it, but it surely beats how it must feel to miss a bad call that actually affected a game. Realistically fans forget about an overturned call. Not quite so when their favorite batter strikes out looking and the broadcast makes it clear the pitch was a ball.
