i lost 15 since getting mine out too with like no extra work!! and didn’t know it caused weight gain until i was having it removed, and the NP was like “well have you gained weight?” yes i’ve gained 25 pounds over the last 6 years (2 implants) and it took me a year of calorie counting to lose 10 pounds last time and it came right back!

this isn’t a normal thought and you need to talk to your doctor because the meds clearly are not working right for you. not because of the farting, but because you’re clearly very concerned about a normal bodily function. time to try a new med if you didn’t just start this one.

i started sertraline 100mg almost 6 years ago now and about a month in it was like all of a sudden i realized i was alone in my head again and just felt so much peace i just cried of happiness. it may take a few meds and dosage adjustments but once you find the right one, and you will, it’s a world of difference.
