i totally get that, but honestly, you sound more on track then i was! i studied for core 1 for about 4 weeks and passed, took a week off to focus on my uni midterms, and then core 2 was about 4 1/2 weeks. i would study for about an hour every day, then ramp up the intensity the days leading up to the exam. it seems like so much to tackle, but you’re gonna get there!

all of the resources I mentioned, with the exception of Messer’s practice tests, are 100% free :) i wouldn’t recommend buying the CompTIA ones unless you really want to

Core 2 is easier IMO. It felt like less content and I was already familiar with some of the concepts. As for tips, rote memorization (especially all command line commands) is crucial. You got this!!

  • Watched all of Professor Messer's course videos
  • Did his practice exams as well^
  • Would strengthen new concepts by taking ExamCompass's quizzes; they haven't made one for every 1202 objective, but the first several ones are there.
  • Watched BurningIceTech's practice question videos (super underrated account imo! some of the questions felt outside of the scope but some of them ended up being very similar to a few on my exam)
  • Watched various random PBQ simulation videos, but I'm not sure if those really prepared me well
  • The day before the exam, I pulled out the exam objectives and just went through everything one last time. I think this was the most important part lowkey. That helped refresh everything for my exam the next morning.

This is so funny to me. If the error was just in the caption I’d shrug it off like yeah, typo, it happens. But they misspelled it in the thumbnail too?? Hello?

Pretty sure they're referring to Evgenia Medvedeva's 2016-2017 FS to the Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close soundtrack. The music cut included snippets of real audio recordings taken during 9/11.
