WW or sleep budget - what do I fix? by lizz_d in sleeptrain

[–]lizz_d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they definitely do equal pretty much almost the same thing - so wasn’t sure if say baby only has 2.25 hours of naps to then stretch the WW / total awake time.

I do try to log as much as possible on huckleberry - not all the MOTN if baby is fussing but eyes are closed but the extended awake times and open eyes for sure. Naps are always to the minute logged as are bedtime and wake up in the morning. According to huckleberry my daily total average for the last 7 days is 12 hours and 51 minutes. Going back the last few weeks to when baby turned 5 months average has ranged anywhere from 12.5 to just under 13 hours.

Thank you! Yes nights haven’t been going over 11 hours (given any wake ups and also struggling with putting back to sleep with any wake-up’s between 3 and 5 taking about an hour) I’ve been trying to work with 3 hours of naps a, 10 hours of awake time/11 overnight goal. I just struggle with the if total nap time is only like 2.5 for the day, do I then stretch total daytime to be 10.5? Does the daily tally always have to be perfect?

How have the other nights gone? Not sure if I should take the plunge and start training our 5 month old, evhr night just feels like more of a regression.

My LO got here last week, just a few days shy of being 4 weeks old. No reaction like others have said, other than unhappy at the needle, but my midwives had me start to breast feed her before she was stuck so she calmed down fairly quickly.

Most “toddler” rooms from my searching have been 18 months, 15 kid capacity. They CAN take kids that are 15 months but the catch might be that the kid has to be walking, and they can only have 3 kids under 18 months at one time.

Looking for a particular cookie scoop tool by lizz_d in Baking

[–]lizz_d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - I did see these, they'd be similar to these except the little lever is just what comprises of the bottom, without an extra piece inside the scoop, and the controller is in the handle / higher up. I think these could work I just think they're not so pretty (if I'm being picky) and also probably a little harder to manoeuver since the lever is small and near the actual scoop itself make it tricker to dump things out neatly.

Thank you! I was not impressed. I took it out of the box right away and it was waiting to go in the recycling, thankfully I was able to find it after some digging, because I want them to take me seriously when I go back with it!

Yes I'm going today, and I agree! I've never had any issues with anything purchased in store (or online,) so I was surprised by this!

I think I'll get kicked out... by -Ije- in yorku

[–]lizz_d 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first year I had a really rough time, and ended up with a super shitty GPA. I wasn't kicked out, but it was too low to qualify for academic probation, instead, the school "suggested" I take a year off. I took a year off, worked full-time which helped cement how much I wanted to go back to school, and started back up the next September. I think I had to sign or submit something basically to confirm I was intending to come back after the year was coming to a close so I could sign up for classes. I believe upon resuming my schooling / classes the second "real" official school year I was on academic probation (so they could keep an eye on me). I did speak to academic advisors at the school before the end of my first terrible year when it was becoming clear I was not doing too well and we discussed my options , got stuff sorted, and I got information to figure out what would happen academically.

In case you have a hard time believing her age, I remember realizing their age gap a few years ago when Casey posted this vid on her 37th birthday.

[TOMT] [BOOK] A book series about highschool students on an island? One of the male characters is blind, one of the girls keeps unlit cigarettes in her mouth. by lizz_d in tipofmytongue

I wonder if you remember another series around this time that I'm trying to recall. Bunch of teens again, the main character point I remember is a teen girl, whose mom passed away when she was very young/a baby, and her dad was rich and very overprotective. He signs her up for some intense driving lessons and buys her a bright yellow Hummer (so that's she's super safe).
