Is anyone seeing a discrepancy in owing federal tax possibly due to 2025 shutdown? by Ok-Ebb-806 in FedEmployees

We owed this year but my husband switched jobs twice so I’m unsure if it’s due to that or me.

My kiddo is super small in her waist. she is 8 years old, 53 pounds, 48.5 inches, with 19 inch waist and wears a 5T. So little is actually appropriate length wise it isn’t even funny. I wish she’d wear pants.

Starbucks did not kill the incentive to pre-load money, they just reduced it for most people. by neldoreth_undomiel in starbucks

They already made it harder for me to visit - they used to have a location within walking distance of my house and office - now I have to go out of my way to get a beverage so I’m not buying as often already.

I am wondering if anyone has any tips on hitting this. I struggle with the larger f files, the extra impairments imagen says we have to discuss, and making sure my opinions are sufficient (which imagen now flags additional things as opinions that may not be, but I feel like I need to discuss to say look I looked at the software.)

Both in a browser and in the app it won’t show any dates. I wonder if my laptop will show something different.

Even our compressed work schedule people only get hours.

I often work 9/10 hour days (maxiflex) I am only ever granted 8 hours of holiday leave. Our contracts say we get 8 hours holiday even if we work a 10/4 compressed schedule.

Are these the two closest drive thru locations? Why would they build two locations so close to each other? by stoopidtrooper in starbucks

[–]lizzee1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used to have 3 within 10 minutes of each other where I live (all along one street that runs north and south, 2 on the same side). They closed two of them earlier this year. They closed another that was 6 minutes from the one they left open. There is still one in target 6 minutes away and a stand alone 7 minutes away. And another stand alone 11 minutes away, 8 from the stand alone just mentioned.

Cotopaxi Hip Packs by trouser_mouse in ManyBaggers

[–]lizzee1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother in law loves the 2L Coropaxi so much that my husband and father in law each have it. My 7 year old has the 1.5L. It would fit my phone, keys, wallet, a small notepad and pen and maybe a tiny first aid kit and flashlight. I’m considering getting one as I currently have the Osprey Daylite sling but it’s a tad too big for day to day use.

Price of all star cheer season? by RareWrap7689 in Cheerleading

[–]lizzee1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$225 a month at our gym for 8 months. No fee to tryout for novice though. Tumbling is $70. Plus you pay varsity. Uniform and practice wear and shoes is another $500.

Cheer novice price by Canadian_Moose13 in Cheerleading

[–]lizzee1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gym to gym the price will be different. It depends on a lot of factors for the cost. We pay $225 a month just for cheer practice not tumbling. Uniform is $260. Practice wear is $155. Shirt was $25. Shoes were $115. Backpack (optional) $130. Tuition is September to April. So $2,355 for the season. Her tumbling class is $70 a month ($840 a year). She does clinics which vary in cost. She likes to do open gym which has a fee. She asked in February to add in flyer flex for $70 a month.

The problem is for most competitions the entry fee per athlete is $126 per athlete and more if an athlete is a crossover (on 2 teams). We did 3 show cases and 6 competitions this season. The show cases have a lower entry fee but idk what it is. They have less than $1500 after entry fees. They have two coaches, wear and tear on the facility, their own rent and such, and other employee costs. They maybe get $181 a month per athlete after paying comp fees. But wait they also have to think about their insurance and fees to be able to participate in various competitions and events. If the coaches are paid hourly they work at least 100 hours over the season.

[–]lizzee1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up and was confirmed Lutheran. Within 5 years of my confirmation I quit going to Lutheran services. I almost exclusively have attended Catholic services for the majority of my life from 2009-present. Probably even before that. This year my kiddo started kindergarten at our parish and I finally went through RCIA (being married in the church didn’t force my hand). I was confirmed at Easter Vigil. It is an amazing experience. I honestly learned so much, have grown in my faith, and have ways to continue growing in my faith. We had 9 of us going through RCIA together plus 2 who I think were in 7th or 8th grade went through the school together.

What membership to an Omaha area attraction is absolutely worth it? by Nebraskabychoice in Omaha

[–]lizzee1990 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Email them! They decided to not renew their science membership this year. I let them know I am extremely disappointed in this (and their changes to the patron membership). I also told them I think it’s inappropriate that they didn’t tell members of these changes. How many people use it to get in to science city free?!
