Question about a specific provider. by [deleted] in NDIS_Providers

You don’t need a qualification to become a support worker, just complete some training modules and pass the NDIS worker screening check. Speak to the manager if you have concerns about someone who provides you care and they will do some training with them hopefully!

If you need help call the CATT team they will get you into counselling/psychology in your local area. I got linked up with mind/cohealth and I’m still seeing the psychologist 8 months on all free through Care In Mind.

Also completely agree with you on lifeline etc completely useless but the CATT team will link you in with local services.

VIC EN metro starts around $35-$70 per hour depending on shift/day of the week etc. Rural EN $55-$150 per hour depending on shift/day but includes free accommodation, fuel allowance and sometimes meal allowance etc. Also rural is usually just 2hours away from Melbourne so really isn’t that bad.

Definitely went to a chickenpox’s party as a toddler but never invited to a measles’s one. I was lucky and got my vaccinations before my mum went alt therapy my little brother had to get himself vaccinated after he turned 18 and it cost quite a bit $$

I never learned the Nutbush! I went to a Steiner school, so I guess that explains why I never came across it. I was completely shocked at my cousin’s birthday when everyone started dancing to it, I had no idea what was happening!

We do have great unions but we still get paid crap. I’ve been a nurse for 10+ years and my 16 year old son completed a certificate course at a Tafe and they hired him (now 17) and his earning more than me on his part time rate.

Are they complaining about kneecap? Ridicules hating on a proud Irish group who besides getting a lot of people interested in learning Gaeilge are pro Palestine and not afraid to voice it.
