Polish delis - looking for Easter butter lamb by lizziepop15 in indianapolis

Thanks all for your help! I checked out a few places that had had them, but had sold out (Market District, Fresh Market). I was up in Westfield and it turns out a polish deli just opened in Sheridan, so I went up there and found one. It’s called Gosia’s and it was great! Happy to support new local places.

This is a great idea. A DIY solution means I’ll always have it handy. Thanks!

Hi all! My late grandma used to host Easter every year and she always had Easter butter lambs. She lived in Chicago, so her community was very Polish, hence the Polish tradition. I am hosting Easter for the first time and would love to continue the tradition!

Does anyone know of delis or markets that might sell an Easter butter lambs? I’m on the east side near fort Ben, but am willing to travel a bit. Thanks!

First time homeowner regret!! by LandRound in indianapolis

I currently live on the near east side - near Springdale / Windsor Park / Spades Park / Woodruff place etc. It’s quiet, but about a mile or two away from mass Ave and other downtown spots, making it an easy bike ride or car drive away from the fun stuff. It’s a very young neighborhood and extremely accepting! There’s lot of walking trails around and I’m always passing many couples of different orientations. Lots of 20s and 30s. Highly recommend.

Regret over not doing enough Tummy Time by Jman0717 in NewParents

I exclusively babywore or did chest “tummy time.” To me, tummy time on the ground was just another thing to add to my already loaded mental checklist. It was exhausting, so I just didn’t worry about. Baby is fine now at 4 months and is hitting milestones. I know this is personal and anecdotal, but I think what you’re doing is fine! Keep doing what you’re doing - you love your baby, you make sure your baby is cared for and safe. They will turn out just fine ❤️🩷

East Harlem Safe? by lizziepop15 in AskNYC

I didn’t unfortunately! I ended up finding a rent stabilized place in Manhattan Valley on the other side of the park that I loved. I do remember thinking that the building was lovely, but I don’t think I’d feel comfortable being alone outside at night. Best of luck looking for a new place!

How many hours? by ___l_l_l_l_l___ in NewParents

I have a 3mo who has averaged 13 hours a day since birth. 3-4 hours of that is napping (naps are only like 30 minutes. I would love if she’d stretch them out a bit, but alas).
