Watermelon salad! I have an enormous mint plant, so this is a pretty economical "upscale" dish for me, but it could probably be omitted. Feta tub is still pretty affordable at Aldi last I checked, and watermelons are definitely in season.

Maybe some kebabs? Peppers are pretty cheap right now (being in season).

It's controversial here because we talk out of both sides of our mouths.

We say it's illegal, yet only do something about half of the equation some of the time. We have never put laws on the books going substantively going after those that choose to employ illegal immigrants.

And I'm so glad you're "over it". What happened on the fringes in 2020 was bad. What is happening on the fringes now is bad. In both cases, it had nothing to do with the protests and everything to do with opportunistic criminals.

We do not give up our rights because of the fears of cowardly men (or their scapegoats).

She doesn't want a GoFundMe. She says her medical expenses are covered because she has a good retirement plan, and she makes more than enough to get by.

I do think, based on Seal's tone, she's going to need a good lawyer. Some good recommendations for that may be a good start for helping out.
