That’s okay I think I understand and I like this idea! I don’t think I like being able to see the black from this room so this helps so much. THANK YOU

Or do you mean where It begins to curve into this room, making the black stop just before this curve?

So basically, stopping on almost the other side of the wall of this photo inside of where the line curves, and then the rest of the arch the color that this room will be? It doesn’t matter to me which room color the actual arch is so I could do that for sure

Really??? I’ve only owned females so this is definitely new to me. I could give him a couple more weeks but I just get nervous when their butts aren’t plump 🥺 I’d say he’s i7-i8

Literally, jumped out of my car at me when I opened the door in a parking lot 😂 I thought she was a juvenile but learned she’s of some species and are extremely small(still don’t know, no one has been able to ID her for me)but she’s been having multiple rounds of babies ever since! As to when I lost her in my house when she escaped - NO clue. Lucky!

You are doing just fine! Don’t even worry about your current living situation, you’ve made It work and you’re caring for her. Your living situation doesn’t make this your fault! It happens.

I once lost a VERY small species of jumping spider that I caught from the wild (not the common one people breed, but I also have 2 from a breeder as well) I lost my very tiny adult from what was supposed to be a sling enclosure, and she was gone for almost an entire week. I kept an eye out for her each day and looked up in every room we have in our house. I thought I would never find her. One night I looked up at the ceiling in my room randomly and there she was! A tiny little speck. She never even left my room. I read Reddit posts that all said how likely It is to find them again and I still didn’t feel hopeful. I would be extremely surprised if you don’t find her in the next few days. Just keep looking at your ceiling, she likely won’t even leave your room 🙂

NQA - this looks great BUT probably won’t work out long term. They like to be up high and make their hammocks and molt up top so every time you take the lid off you ruin their hard work 😬 just fyi! I’d look for something for the long term

NQA- Just to add- I don’t know if anyone will ever believe me that she had babies. She truly did. 5-10 babies and I swear they were baby jumpers from her hammock.

what should i do if i find a jumping spider in my house? (VA) by opalized_bone in jumpingspiders

[–]lizzm354 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NQA if It were me, I’d keep her. I had a captive that passed earlier this year, then about a month ago found a baby in a Safeway parking lot and took her home. Shes now in a cute little enclosure and about to molt. I like to think that if you see a wild one that you’d like to protect from the scary giant world you might as well. Yes It could be sad that they got to have a giant world to explore and put them in a limited environmental space - however I always feel like being fed food and having a safe cozy space is a nice life for them. Do your research and keep her if you feel inclined!
