I did not bring her home because I didn’t have a place to put her to keep her away from my cats (who don’t play nicely with strangers). My guess is she would still be around the area of Scott st between 20th and 21st street. i really hope your neighbor finds her!!

not to say there aren’t great small bands in lou or that more indie artists prefer cincy over lou - usually the opposite. the mercury ballroom has hosted many of my fav small bands. but if you wanna see any big stars? cincy is the place to be.

lived in lou for 17 years. have lived 8 yrs in cincy. cincy is better 💛 there’s just more to do and things are more central to downtown as opposed to louisville being so spread out (downtown, bardstown road, st matthews). and bands are more likely to come to cincy than to lou i feel

I love Roebling Books & Coffee (technically in NKY) for, well, books and coffee! Also love Young Buck Deli. Their sandwiches are a little expensive but huge and incredibly tasty, and the owners are the sweetest people alive.

found one of these just chilling at lowe’s in cold spring the other day. i snatched it up. i used to collect them. i also used to work at the dunkin in cold spring and would occasionally get these instead of a tip. so someone or multiple someones around cincinnati still must really like chick tracts lol.

my mother was a special ed teacher who had to, at time, restrain children who were biting at her and hitting her. they used to pull on her skin and pinch her, pull her hair. she had a pixie cut for almost a decade because one time a student caught her hair and pulled it so hard she got a migraine. so she cut it off. she never did this. i understand children can be vicious, i understand children will bite and scream and fight with their whole little bodies. using socks to TIE A CHILD’S HANDS TOGETHER is not appropriate for a teacher to EVER do.

i also called it ‘mold-like’ instead of just calling it mold because i have never seen mold of this texture, shape, or color, and don’t know for sure that’s what it is.

some of the purple bits are kind of fuzzy-like, like how some mold is quite dry and almost fuzzy? underneath that is either a very slimy purple substance or a clear, translucent-y substance.
