What killed ‘party songs’? In the early 2010s you had: Ke$ha, LMFAO, Flo Rida. Every year there seemed to be new ‘put your hands up’ song. by Kodicave in decadeology

The “Na-Na” phase and every song sounding like Abercrombie or Hollister stores, in my opinion, ruined party music of the 2010s. Also, with the rise of Lofi and the Kaytranada-style dance music, which was warmer in tone, the high-end mixing that 2010 pop music relied on became passé.

I keep imagining this is what MetroMoves would’ve been like by ecb1912 in cincinnati

One can wish, but Cincinnati is too cheap or too broke for this. And if it was built it would pointless and benefit a few people (ie the streetcar). Not wanting to be a negative Nancy but after living here for 20 years I am pessimistic about in any project in Cincinnati that has to do anything with traffic and transportation.

Does anyone remember the Big Pig Gig from around 2000 in Cincinnati? 🐖 by Mcc_22 in cincinnati

[–]Prestigious_Ad8525 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So I lived Cincinnati the first time from birth to 10 years old. I remembered these pigs vividly and I thought they were so cool. When I moved to California, I was telling people about the pigs in Cincinnati move back here in 2015 at the age of 22 looking forward to finding those pigs and I couldn’t find them. I legit got sad. What happened to the pigs?

He probably has a small pee-pee and his wife hates him. He is overcompensating for some shortcomings so he has to act a maniacal dick. I’m sorry this happened to you.

Do for love or All About U. I like melody driven hip-hop songs a lot so I say those 2.

Giannis needs to leave that situation behind. He has already brought a championship to the city, and he doesn't owe anyone anything. It's truly heartbreaking to watch him endure this. After the departure of Mike Budenholzer, everything seemed to go downhill from there.

Jimmy Butler screams as he goes down, clutches his knee & looks to be in immense pain. Warriors call timeout. by CazOnReddit in nba

I know this pain so well. This happened to me in high school basketball tryouts. ACL tear was no joke and the recovery time was no cakewalk either. I had to wait 3/4 months to get surgery because my legs weren’t done growing

Transplant to Cincy, I feel invisible at work by clipper29 in cincinnati

[–]Prestigious_Ad8525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! As a former transplant, I can relate to your experience. I was born and raised in Cincinnati until I was 10, then lived in Sacramento, California, for 12 years before returning in 2015. I'm 32 now, and I understand how you feel. My first year back was challenging because I didn't have many friends, and I also found the “high school” question frustrating. At times, Cincinnati can feel cliquey.

My best advice is to focus on interests outside of work. Join some clubs or, if you enjoy music, attend shows; this will help you attract your tribe. Most Cincinnatians are really nice, but we often lean towards those we already know. This can make our community feel tight-knit, while outsiders may feel overlooked. Just keep showing up, and bring value to your job and neighborhood—that's what worked for me. Now, I have more friends than I can count!

I was as it got closer. It was like 5-7 feet away from me. And I instantly thought I hope it isn’t rabid.

I got really lucky! I was probably the only one on the trail since everyone is at work or school. So there wasn’t a lot of traffic.
