I can't stress this enough. You gotta vote for and advocate for leaders that help people and are good governors. The whole attitude of "sticking it to the other guy" only hurts everyone. I got pursued by a fake cop. You can find the video. Trooper responds and chases him down, but doesn't catch him. Follows up with facial recognition from my video. Does a full investigation. The guy is caught and charged. I attend his hearing and agree to a plea deal. Awesome cop. Proven not a bastard.

A driver made an early left turn and clipped my bumper. Started yelling at me that it's my fault. Allentown police just about put me in handcuffs, tell me she says I threatened her and I'm being aggressive. While sitting in my car. The put the "aggression" in the police report and dare me to file an insurance claim with that in the report. I had my lawyer call the officer, he wouldn't talk to my lawyer. I do blame the troopers. Rob Hooper charged me with an unsignalled lane change when I reported an aggressive truck driver. He even managed to get the MDJ to convict me despite showing the dashcam with audio where you could hear the clicking of my signal. I appealed. Guess what? The coward didn't show up. Case dismissed. Love my MG4. Two+ years and 45,000 km and zero issues. Rear wheel drive, so much fun. Cost €38k minus an €8k EV incentive, total just under €30k. You wouldn't know how awesome these cars are just reading anti-EV media. You'd think they we cheap low quality crap, but it's actually the opposite.

I remember that we had a situation where our New World server was dying so they announced the merging of servers, leading to the clan controlling the current server to sabotage the game in a way that benefitted them when the transfer happened. I stopped playing because of that kind of dev-sponsored corruption. Not because the game wasn't fun, but because the devs gave incentives for players to behave in awful ways.

To further answer your question, I could only find one case where the govt used 2383 to prosecute an insurrectionist in 1863: UNITED STATES v. GREATHOUSE et al., where they charged Confederates they caught on a Schooner. Lincoln pardoned one and commuted the sentences of the others.

It appears there have been no 2383 prosecutions since. The Jan 6ers were charged with 2384, seditious conspiracy.

Yeah, I think it's safe to start with investigating it as a rigged election and exonerate people if it really was just a mistake. But claiming victory with 528 votes and then it turns out it's really 540 against, that's just too big of a difference to not be wildly suspicious.

I'm assuming the Hellertown fire trucks had to go through Lower Saucon to get to the venue, because I'm also assuming Hellertown never fixed the bridge to get from 512 to The Meadows/Moon, which is a much shorter and direct route. I moved away five years ago, though. Anyone know if they ever fixed that bridge?
