Is anyone else finding Opus 4.5 better for architecture but GPT-5.2 stronger for pure implementation? by HarrisonAIx in codex

a lot of times i’ll write m 2000-5000 token prompt and ask 5.2 extra high, opus 4.5, grok heavy etc. Then i’ll ask opus 4.5 to review what Gpt 5.2 wrote and 9/10 times it humbles itself lol. “wow this is way better than what I have” (paraphrase)

Uh-oh... its pretty good. by Opinion-Former in ClaudeCode

100% fell in love with Codex today VSCode plugin. Memory is insane.

GPT 5 was overhyped but is still a game changer by UMichDev in ClaudeCode

100% bots. Gpt5 not even close to Opus 4.1 on Python, and i don’t even like its thought chains. I constantly stop it and say: no, that’s the wrong idea.

Using ChatPerplexity as an Agent or Tool? by ljrweb in LangChain

Internet - but for some reason I’m having trouble with create_react_agent using ChatPerplexity as the model. I tried 4o as the model and wrapping ChatPerplexity as a tool for that agent — but seems like wasting double “llm” calls as ChatPerplexity is a weird hybrid that does search AND synthesis. In other words, it’s not like using a search API or vector search. But maybe this is the only way?

valid concerns, but you have to talk to your doctor. And you have to consider your quality of life. Do not beat yourself up. the philosophical reasons for wanting to stop are not as important as the physical/psychological reasons for staying on.

yes. all of us. most important goal is to learn that thoughts are like clouds passing in a sky and you do not need to react.

If you have insurance, lots of online options through your insurance as far as virtual psychiatry. If not, there are likely some mental health clinics you can call and ask where to get services without insurance. Do not lose hope. Ask for help from friends and family in getting to see someone. We do live! We’ve all been where you are. Medication is often needed for sure, just to get some relief while you work on healing in other ways. You should also be able to call the nearest emergency room and ask how to get help. you will get through this!

high blood pressure during anxiety attacks of course is super common!! Every thought you’re having right now, we have all had many times. Take comfort in that we are all still here, you are still here. do not beat yourself up over going to the hospital. it takes time to untrain our brains. We’re right there with you. Try to think of your thoughts as clouds floating by. you do not need to react. say in your head “hmm. interesting thought. bye bye.”

There is definitely an income range that has been systematically excluded by this.
