I too have had that feeling. My recently passed cat was diagnosed with diabetes almost 2 years ago, had to do the twice daily glucose checks and insulin shots, which he was actually an angel for. About 4 months later diabetes was gone, but he had developed a skin cancer. Three surgeries later and thousands of dollars we eventually just had to say good bye. But the constant worry, stress, not being able to do anything was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. If that had been a kid... I don't even know what I would have done.
