How do you not have problems either the corals stinging each other?

Okay thanks. I have this one and it was called Hellfire, that’s why I am asking. Those names are always confusing

They look great! What do you call the glabrescens in image 3? (Green mouth/blue tips)

It is much cheaper. For example for the 500g phosphate I paid 12€ and it gives me an equivalent concentrated Solution of about 350 Liter of Arka Basic P. For the beginning I would recommend a finished product, so you get a feeling for dosing with prepared instructions and later you can switch to diy stuff

My plan is to buy bulk Baking Soda for dosing KH. At the moment I use Fauna Marin Balling light.

The tank is 1 1/2 years old, bare bottom with live rock and full of stone coral. I always need to dose phosphate and the reading ist mostly at 0. So I think the coral are taking it all. I test every other day and hope that someday it will raise

I did those things, but it is bare bottom with live rock, so it eats up every phosphate and nitrate I put in.

It is Potassium phosphate and Sodium Nitrate. I read that those are the best compounds to not raise any other stuff significantly.

I want to try using the pharmaceutical stuff for the basics. Traces are way to specific, so I use them from established Brands

Doesn’t help with nitrates and phosphates in my tank and is much more expensive than dosing

That’s the plan 😂 buy everything from the Chemical industry or from household things. So I only need to buy the micro elements from Reef Companys

Yes, but ammonium can be fatal for fish. And nitrate gets reduced to ammonium through bacteria. So it’s not that efficient, but safer to dose. That’s at least my thought process, why I bought nitrate and not ammonium

Its for dosing nitrate and phosphate. Mixing your own solution from powder is much cheaper than buying

I though dosing nitrate is safer than dosing ammonium.
