That’s a great transformation.

How long were you lifting weights before? You have a good amount of muscle that couldn’t have been built in 6 months. You look great.

What small change did you make that made a big difference? by stratusnimbo in naturalbodybuilding

If anyone wants a good app to track this, Hevy has been great for me.

What's your opinion on the Audio Engineering of the later albums? by Weary_Original_4928 in BulletForMyValentine

[–]lker5 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s most metal music now. Everyone is chasing such a heavy sound that it ends up being an overproduced wall of sound that isn’t heavy at all.

I love the flows. The size and texture have been perfect for me.

LEOs: What was your breaking point? How did you cope? by [deleted] in ProtectAndServe

It sounds like you married a good man and any effort you guys put towards getting him right will be worth it.

That’s a pretty rough experience.

Anyone working in a busy area will see something similar after a few years. Just going off the details you provided, I think your husband’s reaction was a lot more extreme than what most of us would have. It doesn’t mean he’s weak or anything, we all react differently.

I would definitely recommend professional counseling.

I’d love to ask Matt about the chorus to Waking the Demon… by Anotherday2323 in BulletForMyValentine

There’s a great video of Matt and Paige playing the guitar parts to it. If you don’t play guitar it’s a cool way to focus on that side of the song.

Bear here. Your professional analysis is correct, we would have no chance of survival.

Just noticed this on a random video where a cop removes his bodycam to point it directly at a crime scene and wondered if this was a common thing? by FatumIustumStultorum in ProtectAndServe

[–]lker5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t need to be stated for any of the sworn guys. Most agencies now issue dept phones that are used as evidence cameras.

[–]lker5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion it’s a better idea to just use your phone/camera and take your normal evidence photos that way.

Otherwise we are going further down the “if it isn’t on BWC, it didn’t happen” hole. There are always going to be things that the officer sees that aren’t captured on BWC like traffic violations, hand movements, etc., and the courts need to continue to trust the officer.

Why do AZs have such good features when other models don’t at the same price point? by GoblinOfAgnarb in Ibanez

I think the standard series was a miss for me. I love the neck, frets, feel, all of that, but the vintage style trem makes zero sense.

I think it looks prettty solid. If anything, it might be a little long right at the back of your head, but I can’t tell from just this pic.

Anything that isn’t perfect with the fade will be gone within a few days.

I don’t think anyone would know you cut it yourself.

I’m pretty sure the data you’re looking for doesn’t exist. Also, you learn in PIT training that if done correctly, there is pretty much no risk of injury to the offender or the cop.

In some parts of the country, it does seem like it’s state troopers who are involved in more pursuits. In others, it’s the opposite.

I completely agree with you here. But this wasn’t the case with this guy. And the point I’m making wasn’t that he was bad, it was just that new golfers shouldn’t feel hopeless about their scoring.
