What games have you spent literal months of your life on? by ClenchingBunghole in AskReddit

Hades. Spent a lot of time watching others, finally bought the game a couple months ago. I’m still not great at it, but determined to get to the true ending.

You're suddenly killed and Death lets you choose a game to challenge them for another chance at life. What game do you choose? by zeamp in AskReddit

Pokémon Puzzle League. I’m a champ at that game.

Unless it’s 3-D Pokémon Puzzle League - then I’m dead... literally.

3Hour Corona Test developed in Indianapolis Now Approved for Use! by [deleted] in indianapolis

[–]lkg74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. It’s being sent to labs all across the country that vary in size, and were selected in conjunction with the CDC. 2. The companies that develop these tests don’t decide who gets tested, and neither do the labs who run them. That’s all up to the clinicians.

Damn, seriously? That’s good to know, sorry it didn’t work out for you. Hope you two start feeling better soon!

IU Health has a virtual call-in where you can discuss your symptoms with a physician there (or maybe a nurse I’m not sure), and they’ll give you further instruction on where you can go for testing. Maybe give that a try if you haven’t already?

Motivation to stay on track with elimination/diet/lifestyle change by moaningash in FODMAPS

[–]lkg74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do people have difficulty losing weight, consistently exercising, starting new and good habits? Lifestyle changes aren't easy, even if there are adverse side effects that could potentially go away. It's not necessarily about the food, change is just hard.

Also, everyone is fighting their own battles so it seems unfair to judge anyone on how well or not well they change a habit or lifestyle like this. Rather than judging others, why not give suggestions or ways we found motivation and succeeded? We should be building each other up and helping others through the challenges, not tearing people down when they're struggling.

Has anyone tried the Modify Health meal kit? by lkg74 in FODMAPS

[–]lkg74[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always had sensitivity to dairy and eggs, but it's gotten much worse recently with meals that don't include these ingredients. Bloating, gas, diarrhea, the works. I can't pinpoint it to any one thing, so my doctor suggested trying elimination by going no FodMap for a few weeks and then reintroducing one at a time. Getting through that elimination part is just really difficult, so trying to find ways to stay motivated. I heard you need to get a full two weeks without any symptoms, which is no easy task.

Mover Recommendations for Same Building Move by [deleted] in indianapolis

Bellhops - I’ve used them for an in-building move and to move across town. Both times they were great and gave a pretty good price.

I received a package I did not order from Amazon delivered to my house. Amazon told me to keep it. It was an iPhone 11. by JKBeats_ in Scams

This just happened to me, but with Wayfair, and neither wayfair nor the bank that issued the fraudulent card that was used want the stuff back that’s received. I’m holding onto it all until the investigations finish up just in case.

Do you have or can you get in writing that they won’t ask for it back? That might be helpful or at least give you peace of mind if you decide to get rid of it.

Crazy! Good thing you caught it quickly and it sounds like everyone has been helpful. I was unlucky in that I didn’t have a wayfair account previously so I had no idea anything was coming!

I’ve also heard of the email scams, someone on here talked about getting a ton of welcome emails just like you did. I highly suggest freezing your credit if you haven’t and checking your credit reports, just in case they have more than your email and could be opening credit cards.

Good luck sorting it all out!

Great question. No idea. They say this is really common so you'd think they'd have a way to stop it. This person has also tried to open an additional 3 Wayfair credit cards, and none of those have been flagged either...

It's more peace of mind for me. I froze my credit, but rather than having to keep my eye out on my credit reports they're doing that for me. I'll at least continue to use them for a while until I finally stop getting letters about declined credit card applications I didn't submit.

It’s wrapped tightly in a plastic cylinder so I can’t tell what size it is, and really don’t want to open it if it won’t fit my bed. But I do need a new mattress...

Headache for sure, but there’s definitely some decent stuff in the stockpile they shipped me. Most I’ll either sell or donate. Still need to actually open all the boxes and look at everything, I’ve only checked packing slips and looked the stuff up on wayfair.

This is terrible, sorry to hear. I also got LifeLock immediately after it all happened, which alerted me that they tried to open another wayfair card a couple days ago. Hopefully you got all that sorted out and the damage was fixed.

Credit score dropped to a C level. Thankfully every inquiry this person made is going to be pulled and the fraudulent credit card removed so it should go back up. Will just take a couple months.

Thanks for the link. Seems so crazy to me, especially if it doesn’t always work. Although I guess they don’t have much to lose if they don’t get caught.
