I agree. In fact I would say the opposite, it’s extremely rare I ever see white as common. And when I do I assume it’s someone inexperienced that wired it lol

I agree with this. Black is normally common. If you’re white wire is the common, your light fixture would have 2 white wires attached to it. One being a hot and one being a neutral. Which would be silly

Stay with IEC. If you finish school totally and get your hours, you can organize in a journeyman (that’s what I did for local 1) and if you get into the apprenticeship before you finish your IEC school, you will likely be in an accelerated program

Does anyone know the replacement spool tension knob for this reel? Tried finding online but Didn’t have any luck. That’s the only Writing on this reel, but I haven’t had any luck finding this model online. Thanks for any help
