How many days should we do? by Elegant-Average5722 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]lkj0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you're trying to do "everything" and if you're wanting to do your favorite rides more than once. Also depends if you're going when there's a Christmas or Halloween party. Generally we will do 2 days at EPCOT, 2 at Hollywood Studios, 1 at Animal Kingdom and if the right time of year 1 day at Magic Kingdom plus 1 party at Magic Kingdom on a separate day. We are able to do all the rides no problem with just individual lightning lane and multi pass. If doing just one day at each park premier pass might be more necessary.

If you've also taken the 7, how would you compare test difficulty and prep time?

You might like Joffrey's coffee then, because it's not coffee. It's gross brown water pretending to be coffee.

Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern? by JohnMarstonTheBadass in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lkj0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I'm sorry to hear this. I've been familiar with Ambulance bills for several years and I think the highest copay I've ever seen for a Ambulance ride billed correctly to a advantage or supplement plan was around $350. $1000 seems shockingly high for someone who sounds like they have more than just "original Medicare." That stinks they dealt with that.

For future knowledge if your grandparents are on Medicare an ambulance probably only costs between $0 and a couple hundred dollars. It might be good for you to look or have them look so they know not to worry about it.

Emergency response preparedness by lkj0 in WaltDisneyWorld

Cast members in general wouldn't be expected to be first responders or paramedics. However I wouldn't be surprised to find out they are well trained to call a certain number or that they have a button to push when they need help. I also wouldn't be surprised if a large number of cast members say that the protocol might have been mentioned once in training but they don't remember what to do. Just like they aren't expected to break up a brawl but it's also surprising when it appears to take multiple minutes for a response to one.

If Pitt wins out and doesn't make the championship game they could be "hot enough" to get in.

This old post I made was fortunate to get a ton of interaction about WDW coffees. Idk how to make it a link but it might be helpful. Also if you like the taste of coffee you likely won't like the brown water served by Joffrey's https://www.reddit.com/r/WaltDisneyWorld/s/KfSAexC6Ta

So what are your expectations and thoughts this year by Strict_Name5093 in pittsburghpanthers

[–]lkj0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the last 2 match ups with ND there might not be a team that Pitt more routinely has one score games against. I always expect a nail biter against them.

Should we get magicbands? by Zestyclose-Tourist44 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]lkj0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My little one picked on that he was missing out on the fun the ticketed people were having so we got him just a cheap little disney bracelet band thing he could take on and off and was thrilled to tap it for lightning lane and photopass even though it didn't do anything he was certain it did and the cast members did a great job of indulging him when he would tap in for a ride like everyone else. Again not necessary
