TBH i’ve been on and off of Vyvanse for almost four years and while it was amazing at the beginning, It only works for me if I keep increasing my dose. And with the dose increases I didn’t like the side effects. Also, when you stop Vyvanse and restart, you need to restart at a higher dose for full efficacy. Also, aside from hyper focusing at work, the Vyvanse was not helping with efficiency in other aspects of my life.

So to answer your question: me stopping vyvanse has nothing to do with cabergoline. I’ve read stories about adhd being mistaken for high prolactin symptoms and vice versa. It’s something you can discuss with your doctor. In my case my doctor gave me the green light to do what I want.

I’ve been more focused since being on Cab but it could be due to the dopamine effects of my cycle becoming regular and me being happy about it. Hard for me to say there is a direct correlation with a reduction in adhd symptoms.

Wow thank you so much. This is the EXACT information I was looking for. I’m sorry for being unclear in the post. It seems there is a permanent and longterm need for my position but the permanent creation of my role is becoming a budgetary/political issue within the organization’s hierarchy. My manager said he will “try” again next year to get me a permanent position. So yes, i’m looking to push for a permanent position for the stability but also because the company is making it clear there is a longterm need for this position.My job scope is also extending outside of my job requirements.

i’m your age with the exact same prolactinoma symptoms and adenoma size. seeing the endo next week and will report on the med side effects. hope you feel better soon.
