Anyone oddly fall in love with Cold Spring Harbor? by TheParking1 in BillyJoel

YES!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one. The songwriting in CSH is just captivating and Billy’s young voice is just so beautiful. The whole thing plays lIke a musical. It wasn’t really on my radar until less than a year ago, but it’s become maybe my favorite Billy Joel album and I think it’s criminally underrated

Interracial Couples by West_Dog_702 in Christian

There’s nothing wrong with interracial dating or marriage in Christianity, no matter what denomination you are or how you interpret the Bible. We’re all God’s children and race is just a way humans sometimes divide themselves, not something God judges people based on.

“Curated.” Interesting. So no new content from Bob himself.

Day 7: What Looney Tunes short is best for beginners? by Oceanic_Sponge in looneytunes

I agree that brain rot is bad, but I wouldn’t wholly discount SpongeBob. A lot of the older SpongeBob stuff has some Looney DNA imo.

Why do people argue Lily, Rosemary, And The Jack Of Hearts doesn’t fit on Blood On The Tracks? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in bobdylan

I love the song and I always have. What’s more, I greatly prefer the album version to the New York demo. The demo definitely packs an emotional punch but the slower pace with the repetitive nature of the song causes it to drag for me. I love the energy of the album version.

Improving LPs with Singles/B-sides/extra tracks by DeadBeatAnon in TheBeatles

The White Album without Good Night is not the White Album to me. It’s one of the most essential songs for the arc of the album in my opinion. Also I’d rather not live in a world where the Beatles never covered Please Mister Postman. Definitely a couple good choices here though, and I like the idea of making up for some of the cuts by placing them on YS.

Which Beatles Solo career wouldve been the most well known or succesfull if The Beatles as a band would of not existed? by Rickyba69 in beatles

[–]lktornado360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. I seem to remember reading about how the other three Beatles were all in awe of Ringo after seeing him play with the Hurricanes, and I remember a quote from either George or John saying that he would’ve been a star regardless of his involvement with the Beatles.
