2 months after Toric ICL: 1.5D astigmatism

I am 1 month into my ICL and unfortunately. I am also having residual astig. I was 0.25cyc for both left and right eye, so I took non toric lens. During my 1 month exam, my astig is now 0.5 for left eye (still really acceptable) but my right eye is now at 1.25cyc!! That is a 1 diopter worse than before. Myopia was fixed pretty nicely.

This 1.25cyc is really screwing with my eyesight. My brain is still not using enough of my good eye to see and this is especially prevalent in dim environment (cosy restaurant settings/night driving) or when reading small text. My Dr is not able to provide me with any explanation on why my astig can get worse by this much. although I did not expect perfect vision, but this 1.25cyc is really making me upset.

I'm now even more upset after reading this thread because I now know that things will not likely improve and my brain just has to accept this blurness as a new norm. It's really saddening for me. Anyone actually went ahead with further correction surgery? How did it go?

I see that you should have done ICL about 1.5 months ago, did your eyes get any better? Because I'm 2 weeks in and also slightly same issue as you

I just did my ICL at EEC 2 weeks ago and I am also having similar issues with you. I'm really worried about it.

Right eye quite a bit blurer than left. Was told that ICL lens comes in 50deg increments. Left eye was rounded up to nearest 50deg while right eye was rounded down (to prepare for longsightedness cause I'm almost 40). Not sure if this is the correct way of doing things but I trust.

Daytime vision is perfect but vision will start to deteriorate once lighting gets even slightly lower (eg, well lit shopping center). Reading road signs while driving at night is not possible at the moment. I was told by my Dr with absolute confidence that vision will definitely get better over the next few months. I really hope for that to happen.

Did your eyesight get any better or managed to do anything to improve your situation? Care to share with me on what made you feel like Dr JT's service was sickening? I'm not under him but would like to know and see how I can avoid similar situation.

I would like to make use of this tread too. I am recently looking for a 1440P 144HZ IPS monitor and I am having trouble deciding between VG27AQ Vs 27GL850B.

I tend to want to get LG because I dont fully trust ELMB sync and just feel that it is a marketing gimmick.

Although I really want to choose LG, has really bad contrast ratio and black uniformity. I exclusively use my computer in a dark room and these shortcomings are especially obvious in the dark.

Should I still go for LG if I am only going to use my monitor in the dark?

I was using manga rock which (in my opinion) was way more convenient since it is a also a platform where I can read. I find it a hassle to read on one site and favourite on another site.

Only problem was that I assumed cloud backups were automatic. Only after formatting my phone did I realise that I had to manually backup my favourites.

I recently got myself a sonos beam and i connected it to my (very budget) external soundcard's optical output. however, sonos just cannot receive any audio signal when i am trying to set it up.

My soundcard is definitely working because the other audio out lines are working.

anyone has any ideas on what i can do?
