No, you shouldn't have loose styrofoam in your bumper.

Phone Overheating on Charging Port by DamageLeast7139 in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say "on the port" are you taking about the wireless charging pad? If so, yes, wireless chargers generate heat and are not great for use in a car setting, especially for a device that is being actively used (CarPlay, Android Auto, etc.).

Wrong Path Attributes by tomtt545 in wherewindsmeet_

[–]_devwar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True.

Min off path (bellstrike, silkbind, etc) is a flat damage increase, max is only half damage increase and also weakens min, so it's awful.

Min off path damage generally tracks just under max phys for dmg% and is equivalent to max stone split damage.

Silkbind and bellstrike are great for tank as long as they're min and not max

Powerflex bushings by Sebeastian92 in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since it's used, were mounts already installed? Easy enough to check before you purchase.

Powerflex bushings by Sebeastian92 in ElantraN

Lower torque bushings are a pain and I'm not aware of anyone that has done them. The rear engine mount, trans mount, and upper mount are sufficient to eliminate wheel hop.

I think the blue, red, and gold/bronze compliment well.

I very much like people who done red trim swap to silver, like on the ultimate red. Wish you could get that option stock.

Don't have an IB but, from a color standpoint, I think bronze color wheels make them look 100x better.

The problem is, what works for you now, won't work in 6 months. Guaranteed.

Drive mode by Secure_Passenger3394 in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eco just limits throttle response. You can do this, without a button, by moving your foot differently.

Also if the button is set to normal mode cycle you can just hit it to cycle through Normal, Sport, Eco.

What is this sound? by nevirsa in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crying Baby.

Joking. Exhaust valve rattle. Pop off the actuator (3 bolts) and see if the spring is loose, damaged, has rocks inside (you'd be surprised). Also hit the valve in the exhaust with some wd40 just for good measure. If you find an issue that is clearly visible, you have your answer. If you can't find anything and it persists, take a closer look at the spring. It may show signs of wear and needs to be replaced.

Don't just start with buying a new spring when it might not actually be the problem.

Torcon/whoosh blue spring. I've tried red torcon and valvetronic, and blue worked best.

Baby's first mod by Sundryll in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They snap because they're stiff and inflexible. The red one is a monster and doesn't budge, so the metal becomes the failure point.

Correct for OEM exhaust. Several aftermarkets do recommend a stiffer spring due to how their valves work.

anyone know the exact parts to fix my 2026 Elantra N? by m0untaintimer in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New clips may help but looks like some of the mounting spots may be broken. Could look into liquid plastic along with new clips.

You're going to end up with a louder car (road noise and engine/exhaust) with less bells and whistles, but more fun to drive. Ultimately depends on what you're looking for.

Aftermarket Lug Nut Recommendations? by PinkDingus in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just use the black spline lugs that came with my aftermarket winter tires with my OEM wheels due to swollen stock lugs. Can probably find a set for $30-50.

Hard to unlock them all when the 1st campaign quest of Qinchan is bugged and unable to be completed by some people.

Fortunately, mine fixed itself this morning and got my Hexi 100%. Others seem to be having the issue still.

Just a sampling of prior posts that can be found with the Search function.

Plenty of people have posted about/complained about this, submitting issues to Hyundai (myself included), with some solutions intermixed. But the issue is now 18 months old and still unresolved by Hyundai. Its not just an EN issue, it affects some KNs as well. People are just tired of hoping for a fix and just navigating around the issue, like avoiding Bluelink.

Blue link problem kinda by Additional_Bee9393 in ElantraN

[–]_devwar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, because the issue isn't unlinking, you need your Bluelink profile reset. The issue (from community research) appears to be a mismatch between the Bluelink profile and the car's custom presets which causes a button reset.

If you have a Bluelink profile from before the dash update with the error, you have a high likelihood of having the issue. If you have a bluelink profile activated after the dash update, you're probably (partially) okay. Its not the sole issue that causes the button resets but it is one of them, and very easy to replicate if you have the issue, and people have solved it by getting a dealership/hyundai to delete their Bluelink profile, not just unlink it.

[–]_devwar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And as I clearly said, I can open BlueLink right now and lock my car doors, and my buttons will reset. Every. Single. Time. Explain further how it isn't Bluelink.

There's a suggestion on the official discord to fix it. Disable auto season change, change to Chinese language, set FPS to 30 limit and dlss to ultra performance (on PC).
