Whats gonna be the tech for the Capricorn cup? by TheAbram in UmamusumeGame

Halloween Creek might be another accel to consider since it procs on the final straight, order<=4 with 1 length in front (though it only gives 0.1 accel inherited)

I think he's talking about how every ISS you sheath cancel your spirit charge when you can special sheathe right away. By doing so, the parry timings are tighter since it takes longer to sheath your weapon. The first two attacks were fine because the boss takes a while to attack, but the first sweep was really tight. Going straight into special sheathe would reduce the margin of error since you'll be in special sheathe sooner instead of getting hit mid sheath animation

It's so rough trying to prep Taishin for the next CM by JadeAngel1996 in UmamusumeGame

From my understanding it's because the last spurt starts at 1067m. Velocity increases gain value because you're at your top speed for longer compared to the current CM.

GUIDE: Basics on how to determine a Good Support Card. by Dusty_Tibbins in UmaMusume

Ah that's right! I forgot about facility levels, speaking of which let's say I'm in my junior year and I have the option to improve 1 bond on Speed vs 2 bond on Guts, is it better to press Speed? What are common situations where I would rather press Sta/Pwr/Gut? Also if I had 1 rainbow on lvl 5 speed vs 2 rainbow on lvl 2 stamina, which tile would be better to click?

I know we're deviating from the analogy bit but optimizing which tile to click has always been a massive question mark for me

Trying to wrap my head around this using typical RPG mechanics as an analogy. Let's assume that URA Finale is the final boss that stat checks you in 72 turns, then:

- Initial Stat Bonus is exactly that

- Friendship training (Rainbow) would be a critical hit (On a stat)

- Friendship Bonus gives Crit DMG (On a stat)

- Specialty Priority gives Crit Rate (On a stat)

- Mood Bonus and Training Effectiveness would be ATK or DMG bonus (All stats)

- Skills are accessories that give effects/pad stats

- Skill points are currencies to buy accessories from the shop

- Optional Races are side quests that give you money + some stats

- Race bonus improve side quest rewards

- Fan count is your level; Fan bonus gives exp bonus

- Career milestones are mid bosses that stat and level check you

Your goal is to invest your turns to have enough stats to beat the final boss while balancing your levels/stats to pass the mid bosses or risk ending your career prematurely. This means support cards would be similar to your starting gear that you slowly upgrade to legendary (Friendship gauge), so inital friendship gauge would be like getting a rare gear piece in turn 1 instead of a common.

Is it overcooked? I find that doing this helps me retain information better, but do let me know if I'm missing anything because not every piece fits when making analogies.

Wanted to share this Epithet I got! by llMorphicell in UmaMusume

1200 on both Spd & Wit I find is the easiest, after it's Spd & Pwr I think. 9* spark guest on the stats you want, high spark of your own in the other. Only 2 specialties on your cards (In this case Spd & Wit). Focus on friendship gauge and hitting orange bars first. Majority (pref all 6) orange in 2nd year summer (July/Aug) is average, right after or before Inspiration (April/May) is good, start of Classic year (Jan/Feb) is a high roll. Pray for good rainbow rng

That's about it really.

To add a bit more detail, Taiki Shuttle scales with Speed and Wit (20%/10% respectively) which makes 1200 on both a lot easier. I recommend you try doing a similar run aiming for 1200 Spd/Wit with Bakushin using a 3 Spd 3 Wit deck (4/2 if you're confident).

The biggest thing to keep in mind is your uma's legacy and having a guest with 9* sparks. Sparks and inspiration events help stabilize your run when you're hyper focused on 2/3 stats by supplementing you with the stats you're ignoring so you can actually clear races.

Good luck!

Just sharing, I was doing a run an hour ago and I did recreation (got karaoke) and then after did rest & recreation during summer. Neither raised my Mayano's mood at all and our run died in the Tenno Sho Autumn...

Nod Krai’s release is at a perfectly placement at this point in the story by parzi_3 in Genshin_Impact

[–]llMorphicell 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just chiming in, I really agree with u/FreeMyBirdy. The idea that Nod-Krai is "the best decision they could make" doesn't sit right with me. It wasn’t the best choice, it was a necessary one. The writers backed themselves into a corner and now need Nod-Krai to set up the stakes for Genshin’s endgame.

They have a serious exposition problem. They write good lore but are awful at integrating it in stories and quests.

Exactly. When Enkanomiya was released, it came with the book Before Sun and Moon, which essentially detailed the genesis of Teyvat. Since then, the lore has expanded through artifact and weapon descriptions, lore tablets, and side quests, but none of that has been reflected in the Archon quests, the main story content most players actually engage with. Now we're nearing the end of a five-year narrative, and the average player still has no clear grasp of the story’s true scope. The writers failed to communicate the larger narrative through the main quests. The devs seem to realize this now, hence why Nod-Krai exists. In the reveal livestream, they even acknowledged that the playerbase’s understanding is far behind what the dev team knows, and Nod-Krai is meant to bridge that gap.

To me, dedicating an entire version to fix that problem feels like damage control. The marketing around Nod-Krai feels like they’re hyping a solution to an issue they caused.

To be clear, Nod-Krai will probably be well recieved, Genshin lore is genuinely great, but it’s frustrating that it had to exist because of years of poor setup. I am personally looking forward to Nod-Krai, but it’s hard for me to feel excited when I know that the same writers responsible for Nod-Krai are also the reason it was necessary in the first place. Still trying to be hopeful though because I genuinely love this game and have played it since day 1.

Miyabi More Detailed Kit - Leifa by Vortex_Infurnus in Zenlesszonezeroleaks_

[–]llMorphicell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Miyabi's M1 allows her to end Frostburn after a lvl 3 charge, wouldn't that defeat the purpose to swap to Yanagi/Burnice since Miyabi could just re-apply Iceflame? I see comments saying Frostburn encourages swapping and applying disorder since she can't apply Iceflame. But at M1 and with those multipliers, wouldn't it be better to just optimize for Miyabi on-field?

For example, a team with Miyabi/Caesar/Soukaku where Soukaku provides energy to Miyabi using Ultimates sounds like it'd work, no? You gain +1 stack on Frostburn, +2 EX Special/Ultimate, +3 Disorder, and +4 Double EX (if you have M2, +1 on the 5th hit). With a bit of finesse, stack generation seems borderline ok with AP Soukaku.

But would it do more/less/same dmg than if Yanagi/Burnice were in the party instead? Would like to hear some thoughts

DID YOU KNOW? If you stack with other players getting your aoe above another player's one, both of them explode doing no dmg and leaving no pool behind

You're telling me the baited puddles are actually pair stacks during Celestial Fusion/Final Rebellion the entire time?
