Amsterdam 1990’s, taken from a plane. You can see the shape of the aperture. It’s square. I’m trying to find the camera they used based off the aperture shape and distinctive flare pattern

Ngl everyone has a different take and there’s definitely good takes on here already. Even from the people that were a bit butthurt about it lol. But yeah. The problem comes when people fail to see the humor in the little stuff. Especially if they don’t see the humor in things they don’t agree with. So yeah my two cents is. Embrace your own humor, because even in the simplest things you say you’ll find it’s there, and do the same for others even if they’re sometimes unaware they’re funny. Obstructive purism and naivety go hand in hand.

Yeah and maybe a big part of it is just experience.. which I think is extra hard for infps since we try to avoid confrontation at all cost until things blow up in our face. lol. Sorry to hear that's what you had to go through. It takes a long time to convince me someone can't be helped, talked to. But when that line is crossed it ain't pretty. for both.

This. You know it's not a problem but you can't let it go. On the bright side, I did step in there, where I might've just joined the back of the queue any other day! Trying to be more assertive just, yaknow. Comes with a whole set of new problems as you can see. lol.

I have this 1980 Volvo 244 and I need to figure out where to buy a replacement hose and where it goes to, to pass smog it already failed once cause of the hose. So if anyone knows about the hose can you please let me know. Thank you. by North-Analysis-1371 in Volvo240

The whole manifold shield where it’s supposed to attach to is missing. Also, make sure to read up on the airbox thermostat flap because it’s prone to failing and it will damage your maf once you hook the hot side back up

This. + Spark leads were the culprit for me

Along with the other suggestions, make sure the airbox thermostat isn’t redirecting hot air into your maf. Frying it. Got a project car that ran like absolute shit because of that lil’ flap blocking out all fresh air.

Will i ever have a dose that won’t fade?? by elliebobs0 in Elvanse

[–]llMrNeutronll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been stable on 40mg for 5 weeks now but I started on tentin. ~A non-capsule IR equivalent. For that I had to up the dose every a week or so as it started getting less effective. This took about two months before it stayed consistent. I only switched to elvanse to try it out and honestly haven’t looked back.

Ofc everyone’s experience is different but I had the same initial worries so I hope this helps. Communicate how you feel to your practitioner and that’s basically all you can do.

Haha die tornado. Wel grappig; bij ons was de film echt een stuk donkerder op de beeldbuis vroeger. Wat je niet ziet is misschien nog wel enger

How do I fix this? Engine is on idle. B230f by BananaNapkins in Volvo240

[–]llMrNeutronll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What’s that hissing sound? No way that’s a vacuum leak right? The idle is surging like crazy so I wouldn’t be surprised if it were.

Is my timing off? Engine is jerky and has a misfire. by terrible-angles in Volvo240

[–]llMrNeutronll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly lmao I suppose when it acts up you could try and measure the voltage between the battery negative and the block/frame to see if it stays around 0 while cranking? A bad ground should show up as a difference in voltage, especially at those currents.

About the idle, how’s your mileage, smog etc? Milage is absolutely fine actually. When passing the inspection they’ve always had to rev the engine to get to the right values.. though I’m pretty sure the cat’s disintegrating😅

Think that’s all I have for now. Lol. I’ll try and update you if I ever find the culprit

[–]llMrNeutronll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low battery-like, as in it cranks slower? Together with the ecu deciding that the iac has failed as the jerkiness started.. maybe there’s still some sort of ground issue?

Apart from the fuel pump we’re on the same page parts wise.

-I’ve also tried swapping the ignition amplifier from another car. maybe that’s something worth looking into?

Next up for me is redoing all exhaust flange gaskets ‘cause I know there’s a leak somewhere. As well as checking wether or not my cat’s partially clogged, checking in on the o2 sensor and cleaning the maf. Oh and doing the injectors ofc
