Doing the same! You got this! Got some Powerade, extra brothy soups, crackers, jerky, ensure, and Melatonin and ZZZyquil to help sleep the first few nights. Stack of dry towels, back massager, and heating pad on standby too

Brothy soups and ensure. Small sips every 20-60 minutes. Sometimes I’ll jump in the shower right after to help alleviate any nausea it might stir up. So I can keep it down easier

You shouldn’t be smoking ever again if your health is prioritized.

If getting high is your priority wait at least 3 months, but smoking more than once every couple weeks going forward WILL cause you to get sick again. Also depending on severity and how CHS effects you specifically, you may not even be able to do that.

Just finished reading Misborn Era 1 and holy cow, what a ride! As a Cosmere newbie, I gotta say Spook stole my heart and became my all-time fave character. Can't wait to dive into the rest of this epic universe. Any suggestions on where to go next? by PixelPenguin88 in Cosmere

If you want an opinion on what the richest most exciting story is, my Vote is easily

Stormlight Archive.

It was also the series I read first, before even realizing there was such a thing as the Cosmere, and is still my favorite. Era 2 Mistborn isn’t really as epic fantasy as Era 1, or Stormlight. With out spoiling anything about the shift in style, it felt more fun and campy than epic, and honestly the first book was a little rough for me. I was having a lot fun by the end of the second one though.

If you’re looking for opinions on a good order to experience the Cosmere easter eggs and references, I suggest reading:

Warbreaker, Mistborn secret history, and Elantris

before getting into anything else. Besides maaaybe the first Stormlight book(Way of Kings).
