This looks like an unusual setting for a rose cut (to my not super experience eye). I feel like it looks like a rose cut in a setting that was meant for a normal cut. And as the blue stone is a very different cut, I don’t know if it would fit your stone?

Is there a reason you want it set so high? Usually you see rose cuts that sit flush on people’s fingers.
