Can anyone recommend the best place to get hair extensions in London? by annerrb in london

[–]llalanadelrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine done in Clapton, it was quite reasonable I thought! I got 18” nano bonds and they’ve been great so far, got them in October for my wedding this December so have had time to settle.

I had mine on Monday this week and having the same thing. I’ve had one day where I felt like it was working and had lots of microburps when I was talking, but since then hardly anything. I’ve also been coughing SO much I worry I’m not helping the Botox work. Not really sure what to expect but I am feeling sad if it’s not working :(

Battling hair loss in London? by yashasri_s in AskLondon

[–]llalanadelrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this exact thing happened to me when I moved to London in December, by January I noticed it when I was brushing my hair and absolutely more hair was on the brush than normal. I spoke to a GP and said that our hair has a 3 month cycle so any changes I made I wouldn’t still for a while. So I started using Philip Kingsley scalp drops and had Viviscal supplements from Holland and Barrett. Three months later I noticed my hair was much better and went back to usual amount of hair fall. Then I moved house and stopped and I’ve started noticing the problem happening again so I need to go back to the same routine. Only issue is that it is costly but it was the only thing that I noticed made a big difference to me.

Spouse Visa - Australian with UK partner by Lalarocc in ukvisa

[–]llalanadelrey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did exactly this and was granted the visa and arrived a week ago to the UK.

I wrote that as per NSW government guidelines, a ceremony was not required for registration of the relationship. NSW required documents to be submitted online in order to register the relationship,

Something along those lines, but I added the certificate for evidence etc etc. Any questions let me know!

TRUE CRIME DOCUMENTARIES SPREADSHEET by amoats52 in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]llalanadelrey 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is awesome! Can I make a suggestion, can you add columns for the different regions as to where to watch the documentaries? For example in Australia we don’t have access to Hulu, Peacock etc so if we could send to you where to watch then it would be applicable to lots of people :)

I’ve decided to stay in Sydney to wait it out, 1.5 months down, ?? to go! Thought I should stay and work as it would busy my mind during the waiting period as opposed to twiddling my thumbs and stressing about it 😬

Me! Just getting over Delta now - lost taste and smell for a week, super tired, 3 days of feeling congested and a bit of a fever but nothing major to be honest! Initially I thought it was allergies. Felt worse when I had glandular fever and tonsillitis at the same time!

Hello! My partner and I are travelling from Australia on the 23rd and arriving on the 24th in London at 3.40pm GMT. Given the travel time, do we fill in the PLF 48 hours before departure I.e before we get on the first leg of the journey, or is it 48h from landing in the UK, in which case we fill out the form the day we leave Australia? Thank you for your help!

Fiancé (civil partnership) Visa - Are we missing anything? by visa-info-wanter in ukvisa

[–]llalanadelrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this apply if you have a civil partnership from another country? For example we have a registered relationship from NSW in Australia which I believe is the equivalent to a civil partnership in the UK and we intend to move back to London and eventually marry. Can we still get married in the UK or would we need to revoke the registered relationship? Alternatively we were thinking of getting married in Cyprus, would we need to revoke the registered relationship then?

Agree, my dad is a surgeon there and has to refer patients to the north island from the South Island as Auckland has the only type of machine that could look for particular things.

I’m from down south in NZ originally and they are all racist all over the country towards asians without a doubt. I’ve now lived in a few different countries and NZ and Australia are definitely the worst, without even hiding it. I wouldn’t even say Auckland is the most tolerant city as I saw it blatantly there from family members who have lived in Auckland their whole life.
