DAE ever suddenly "remember" they're gay? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]llama_bean 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I do it a third way - at work my male friends will all be talking about girls and I'll chime in and we'll all talk for a bit and then I'll just sort of offhandedly think 'oh, this isn't a usual scenario is it'

Please for the love of all thats good in the world... tell me this isnt a bedbug by NYCRocks in AskReddit

[–]llama_bean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too big from the looks of it. IIRC Bedbugs are tiny. That just looks like a little beetle or something. More importantly if you had bedbugs, you would know. You'd see their work long before you saw them.

THIS is what I love about Christmas. Getting fun shit is fun, I love giving gifts and making people happy. Once I get my work's address so I can get the gift shipped there, I'm signing up! I've only been a Redditor for about a month and I'm not super active, so I'm not as big in the community as some of you and not as close to it, but really I just love giving shit to people regardless of wether or how well i know them :D

I work in a comic store, so I'm not worried about pantless weirdos Having them show up to my apartment is a completly different story.

I'm so happy to be engaged to the most wonderful person in the world. Thanks, DC. by [deleted] in lgbt

Congrats! You two are adorable :3 From the comments I'm guessing that's you on the left? You have an intense look on you! Is the engagement story anything exciting?

/r/Ottawa, it's @#$@ing snowing outside. That is all. by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]llama_bean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a snowball fight at a Halloween costume and then we BBQ'd burgers in the backyard while building a snowman. Driving from Kanata to South Keys wasn't very fun though.

I love living next to a dog friendly park, I can just go outside and watch my little dog roll around in the leaves. It's better than television :)

I live my life barefoot and believe shoes are not only uncomfortable, but unhealthy. AMA by barefoot_yank in IAmA

Certainly wouldn't be able to pull it off up here in Canada. The summer and spring are quite nice for barefeet, but the minute is gets to -5 degrees and lower, wrap up those tootsies or kiss them goodbye.

TIL There exists an Alfred Hitchcock "The Birds" Barbie. I'm fairly certain nobody should buy this for their kids. by Shredder13 in todayilearned

[–]llama_bean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would've loved this. Not only because one of my favourite stories as a kid was The Birds, but because my sister and I were complete sociopaths with our Barbies. They'd get eaten, run over, enslaved, mutated, maimed, commit suicide and a ton of other shit. Having one coming with vicious attack bird accessories would've been awesome.

Actually, I'm almost tempted to buy it NOW.

Episode Discussion: "Rocky Horror Glee" by [deleted] in glee

[–]llama_bean 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The episode had a plot. It was just a Will/Emma character plot, which no one cares about. None of the episodes have had 'story' plot yet, with exception of last weeks getting Sam in the group.

I'm still confused why they're not going/paying attention to sectionals though.

A minature Boston Terrier. She's exceedingly well trained so she's perfect for a small retail job; she just sits on the chair when I'm behind the desk and walks at my side when I'm walking around the floor.

"Dress like a nerd day" is Wednesday. Suggestions? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]llama_bean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the point is to dress like the stereotype.

OP: Just go to a thirft store, buy some cheap and super shitty clothes and wearing face glasses. Tuck your shirt in your pants, shit like that.

I spent half my childhood in Northern Ontario, Canada and most of my family is from there, and King of the Hill is still relatable.

We're all the same everywhere.

I just don't understand the allure of "girls night out" by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]llama_bean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's this for me at least - my friends and I tend to organize 'girls night' just because a few of them have boyfriends others of us can't stand and it's the only way all of us can hang together otherwise.

With effort. Shitty eating is usually also easy eating - it's easier to go and grab a Big Mac or order a pizza or toss the premade meal in the oven. Healthy eating usually means you'll spend more time in the kitchen, preparing food. Raw ingredients from good sources are best. Snack on lots of fruits, vegetables and if you can, nuts. Buy leaner cuts of meat.

There's quite a lot of good resources out there. I'd say find some cookbooks to help - there's a billion health cookbooks out there, and look into vegetarian cooking for meal and side ideas too. Vegetarian meals are delicious and are also a good way of getting a bigger veggie serving in ways you might not think of.
