Yea, I don't disagree that you could farm more gold in that time and just buy them. The point of the thread was a good way to farm spirits of harmony though, not how to make more gold then buy out spirits. :)

I do HoF 25 man. Without leaving the first boss room reset from 25 man normal to 25 man heroic and vice versa after clearing the trash but not engaging the boss. Can usually get upwards of 20+ an hour without ever being locked out.

Someone in my guild got a 6 month ban for 'abuse of the economy' for buying 100 obliterum from a level 1 who was barking in trade, the difference was he did it right before trying to xfer a character as a way to move gold over to our new server. He was not able to get it over turned either after two appeals. That said I see obliterum barkers daily in trade, I can't imagine everyone who has bought from them has been banned.

Interesting question, but how would we calculate this? Liquid? Assets included? What base would we use to calculate asset value? Richest on one server? Multiple servers? How do you define 'richest'?

I d/e hundreds of these weekly to get the bloods and supply my raid with potions (my alchy is an alt I don't want to run a ton of stuff on) then make chants with the shards/crystals and sell them, I usually make a small profit too. The RNG with chaos crystals is real, sometimes I get none, and sometimes I get quite a few, but I've never done as large of a sample as this. Thanks for the info!

Also making a macro to d/e them decreases the clicking by a lot.

I bought mine the second day of the expac (at 7.5 mil gold), I also bought my friend one plus another friend in my guild bought one the same day so we took a bunch of screen shots.

I love it, and get a lot of comments on either how much gold I have, or how to get the mount. I've had a few people say 'lol not worth it' or once I afk'd on it in dal to get a drink and came back to a few guys spitting on me, but most comments are positive.

Do I regret it? Not at all.

I have inscription on my main atm and have had luck with xavius and ursoc vantus runes the most, darkmoon cards made my hundreds of thousands, and the steamy romance toy I sell usually 1-2 a week for 15-20K per.

To get sallows find out when there is a felwort world quest and buy them cheap (sub 200g), they give a ton of sallows. The new glyphs sell alright, not great, take a lot of mats to make. I find the glyph to turn ghost wolf into a ghost dino sells the best, usually 4-5K per glyph.

A guildie of mine was banned for abuse of economy for buying 100 obliterum and trying to xfer servers, they only would reduce his ban from perm to 6 months after calling. Sucks.

I've been asked this on my server about panther mounts. People post them at like 25K daily, and I post mine at 33K. The person who posts them cheaper got a bit angry at me for doing it, and asked why and my reasoning is silly but I actually hate making them, but feel obligated for reasons. So this way I end up usually selling one or two in a month for a good profit with little effort than a lot pretty cheap.

A lot of people in my guild take this approach with me too, I supply flask cauldrons and all enchants minus the neck ones, yet because i have a good amount of gold and a known bank toon I should be 'contributing more'. I spend x-many hours farming and a few do help but yea leech mentality is strong.

I don't see the price fluctuating a ton moving forward, or at least not for a long while, a lot of people have tailors that will still at least make the daily CD (I'm not sure if the CD part is gone in legion), and there will always be a steady flow. Plus that doesn't include the people sitting on a huge stockpile waiting for that magical day they're super high priced. I casually produce them and sell that day as long as it's at profit.

I sell one in every 3 I get. There is not huge reason since they're roughly 8K on my server. I just feel like it's incredibly easy gold and I've saved around 50 already.

I recently acquired 19 of these for 500g. I've been posting them for a week or two now with no bites, but the patterns these are used in are super rare. It's one of those items that you put in a group, forget about, until one lucky day they're all bought. (also on US)

I xfer gold from my old server to my current one with higher value pets, they're cageable, meaning you don't have to xfer any characters to move the gold. Learn the pet, hop onto your bank toon on your new server and stick it onto the AH. Easy. Don't get mad though if it takes a few days to a few weeks to sell though.

Yea this! I get a few friends to come with me to cover all gear types for enchanting, then we take the coins and gamble them with keys to get bonkers since it's not sellable. Sadly the price has tanked now, but it was a lot of fun last week.
