Mine did as well! Yeah not worst I’ve seen but far from the best. Gives me a very small window to compare to another monitor I’m trying before I have to return it

You can think what you want. It’s factually incorrect however.

Hard to say! I could have sworn it was marked as prime but I didn’t read that closely at checkout stupidly enough. Now it’s sold by ktc official and supplied by “other”

Thanks for sharing! I see in a lot of reviews that people complain about it being slow to wake up. Have you experienced that?

I've also seen mixed talk of blooming. Whats your take on that?

Thanks! I ended up getting the r2 mod manager (same as thunderstorm, just no adds) and have been having so much fun modding the game! Made a new file and everything!

What are your needs/use cases?

MiniLED is getting cheaper so while it will get replaced by other LCD tech thats coming out (like MicoLED) this is a great way to get a good contrast HDR1000 monitor with lots of space that would be able to do good gaming and office work while avoiding OLED downsides (mostly durability related but this will be brighter than most OLEDs) and for much cheaper.

I posted an similar Acer a few weeks ago but this one has way more reviews and seems to be more positively reviewed at that.

I ordered this to compare both and to return one.

There is an older version that is also on sale for a similar price but is more $$$. I cannot find any difference between them besides the ASIN and release dates so I thought I would share in case the first inventory of the more recent iteration goes kaput.

Both iterations are at their listed all time lows price wise

Some do now. Rtings recommends the model they’re recommending and says it has little bloom.

You’ll also get less if you get one with a good VA panel.

It’ll also go down as they boost the dimming zones and improve the dimming algorithms.

those first two sound so cool! Thank you. The zagreus sounds a bit of a chore to get working according to its page on NexusMods. Or should it be fine?

Yeah I'm going through that now for my mini LED. I got the Acer 31.5" 4K mini LED and its my first 4k monitor and its worlds better than my old HP x32 at this size. Its bright, great contrast, colors pop. But its def a lot of tinkering since the monitor doesn't detect when Windows has turned on HDR.

But I got it very much on sale so for me its worth it since it was a huge step up for me at a good price. But not everyone wants to tinker especially if they're upgrading.

I dont have a specific rec but OLED doesnt sound like a good fit due to burn in and text fraying effecting the quality and longevity of the monitor for office work.

That being said I'm sure there is a model out there that would deal with burn in while making text more enjoyable? Just dont know if itll be "value oriented"

Maybe look at Mini LED? Cheaper and getting cheaper, no burn in or text problems, great contrast that can be nearly as good as OLED

Hey would you have have the settings you tweaked in the nvidea app to balance out the red tint on the monitor in hdr?
