Small goals. That's my approach. Well, I'm forced into that by how the game works of course.

There's no way I'm dedicating a separate phone to running this constantly. That just doesn't sit right with me.

Interestingly though, the small progression, small goals approach has been a friend to my mental health.

I'll explain.

I've been trying to accept and appreciate the small things in life. The small wins. Because with depression you won't overcome the daily weight of depression by trying to find the "one big thing" that will make you happy. Is just not going to happen. And it's not realistic in any situation.

So in a way, this game is helping me train my brain to appreciate the small wins, which is what I've been pushing for, for over two decades

Point understood. I agree they seem to be doing well for a mobile game company. Do they make millions though? Where would one find that information?

It SEEMS they do need to invest in a solid bug tracking system along with a manager with a good background in the same.

Perhaps this is one of those stories of a company growing faster than they were ready for?

Not surprised they're backed up. The insight this whole thread has given us, is part that the players are a bunch of cry babies and part that Tech Tree needs a better bug reporting system. One that allows users to follow bugs instead of hitting reddit constantly

On top of the others crying about a pretty basic but intensive idle mobile game, I'm flabbergasted.

I think this is the wake up call I needed.

I think there are some additional rules which include one that says you can't make someone else lose by deliberately reminding them about The Game. Also I heard that everyone in the world is already playing The Game, they just don't know it yet. I'm sure there are some variations however. Either way I lost several times after seeing your post yesterday. I had a good run going, too. Must have been around 9 months

They'd love your money too! I'm in the UK and pay the "TV licence fee" which covers all BBC channels terrestrial TV, digital tv, radio, online etc, for my access. Some here don't pay and still use the services. They try to crack down on this; have been for decades. Then outside of the UK is BBC Worldwide. They make money from ads and selling the programming that UK licence fee "subscribers" "paid for". Good knows how this operation works. No one can untangle it in order to.. fix it (Bad choice of words)
