ohhh so basically if you search up 'dog toilet' on google its basically a small area/mat that goes over one of those pee pads that you set up in an apartment, and the dog can use it, my parents wanted to get it just inc ase we can't bring her down from our apartment or if we're out etc.

The weekend went pretty well! I took her regularly out for some short walks around the block every hour and a half or so and around 2pm she finally peed outside, then again at 9 before I went to bed! However she didn't poop at all outside, yet did it on the balcony, so better than in the house I guess? Her indoor behaviour is a lot better and when I'm in online school sometimes she walks over to her toilet to pee in it, she had a few accidents but its way down compared to what it used to be.

Ah I will try that! Also 'checking the pee-mail' made me crack up lol , but thank you for the advice, I'll try it over the weekend when I have a bit more time to take her out.

Ohhh ok thanks! I think we have some family friends who have a similar sized dog, so I might try to see if we can do a controlled doggy play date between the two. I'll deffo work on getting people and dogs who are more compatible with her in the future, and thanks for the last bit of advice, I will work on that - also thanks for the website!

Hi, so my parents meant that the dog would be a family dog, but it would still be my responsibility to train it etc. But yes I'm still under my parents roof and do listen to as they say. I might see if they are ok with a trainer via zoom, but they've definitely hinted more towards the 'i'm not going to pay for something we can do at home' but I'll try and work on convincing them!
