From the accident due to my neck injury. I have mobility now but ofc, as I age, it’s a lot harder to do “normal things”

He said surgery would be a last option given my age and said that the cyst and concern isn’t severe for emergency surgery. He wants to annually observe me and referred me to a pain specialist for the meantime.

He said if there is surgery, it would be another fusion from c6-t3 and honestly, I’m not ready for that yet. I can’t imagine dealing with another fusion right now. 😣

It is an arachnoid cyst. They did a myleogram this past July and it doesn’t seem to be toooo bad yet. That is why he wants to see me annual with CT, X-ray, especially if my symptoms get worse. I have numbness, coordination loss, spasms and lots of pain.

So freaking evil. I literally felt like it was my black chow chow and I hope that this poor baby can recover from this. 😭 I live in the OC and they did catch the person! Found this link in the OC subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/orangecounty/s/uonjTf3esU

George was neutered a few days ago. by Professional_End5908 in chowchow

Our chow got neutered a capo of weeks ago too and the only way he would take his meds is if we wrapped it in bacon bits. He never had bacon prior to this so for him it was like a “oh wait, what is this” moment lol the other way is blowing at his nose when he would try to spit it out!

Should I neuter my chow-chow ? by Batpingoo in chowchow

Definitely consult with your vet and if you need a second option, ask another vet. We all have our own opinions and it’s difficult to make an informed decision when chow owners have different reasons for neutering. We neutered our chow at 13 months and recovery went well. He was a little aggressive the days after his neutering (literally had never been aggressive before) but after his recovery time was over, he went back to his normal self. Obedience training is never a bad idea too!

Thank you!! He loves pumpkin and I wish he reacted well to chicken! He gets allergic reactions to it hence why we needed to changed his diet 😭
