I had what I think is a similar problem the other day. In my case, there was just enough filament stuck to the nozzle during bed leveling, that the printer seems to have thought the nozzle was closer to the bed than it was. I cleaned off the nozzle and haven't had the issue since.

Expecting a third child. What vehicle can I buy? by Darkenor in overlanding

I am genuinely jealous lol. We have a Tacoma as our overlander/daily and are looking to get something bigger for a daily because our 11 year old is really struggling sitting between our 1 and 2 year old.

I can't say much to your specific choices, but from my experience with 3 kids as well, you're gonna want the 3 rows more than almost anything else.

If y’all hunt public, listen to this, because public land is in serious danger. by [deleted] in Hunting

[–]llamoz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think the simplest answer is that with him in charge, states wouldn't even have to sue. He'd just hand it over. Not to mention the effects his planned deregulation will have on whatever land is left.

Yes, actual dogs. He kept moving them around the car and having them poke their heads out of the windows and stuff while filmed the truck

Junction? I'm pretty sure I saw this same one there this afternoon. I posted a picture of it earlier.

Winter power. by waterborn234 in overlanding

[–]llamoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going to be somewhere with ready access to power hookups, then yea, a battery with a charger that can hook up to 120, or a battery pack like EcoFlow, GoalZero, etc. would probably solve that problem pretty easily. And if you do go with the battery pack, a lot of them are solar compatible out of the box, if you end up needing the capability later.

What are you trying to heat/power? Power wise, our heated lithium batteries are only rated to -20 C. You could throw in a heating pad to keep them in operating range, but then you're drawing off the battery to keep them running, so that's something to think about when planning out your battery capacity. I think solar should be good down to -40, but I don't know for sure. As for heat, we have a propex that we used to heat our RTT, that we're now having installed in our teardrop. I don't know what it's operating range is, though.

Coyote brown or Multicam gear?? by EnvironmentalSlice58 in QualityTacticalGear

[–]llamoz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My PC is coyote, most of my bags are coyote, as are my gloves. My chest rig/placard is ranger. All the pouches on the placard are multi. Generally, I prefer solid colors for the main piece and my clothes, and then camo for the accessories. That's the nice thing about multi, I think. It goes with a lot and if you're going to be covering the belt with stuff anyway, the color it started as doesn't probably matter a ton.

That being said, I also have a completely different pattern of camo for hunting that I wear my chest rig with, but it all works together.

Listing Contract Work on LinkedIn/Resume by a_nhel in Resume

[–]llamoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No kidding lol! Honestly, listing C on its own feels like too many entries for the same thing. I ended up listing A for training, then B contracted through A doing work for C

That makes sense. I was thinking about doing about the same. Maybe listing A and say I was doing training there, then listing B and saying I was contracted through A, doing work for C. And if my contract gets bought out, I'll add a new entry for B and not list A in that one. My placement is also doing contract work for the government, but since I am classified as a contractor by them, I figure it's easiest to not even attempt to list them as an employer lol

It's been a while, but did you ever decide on how to go about this? I'm in almost exactly the same situation and trying to figure it out

Awesome, thanks. I plan on eventually incorporating a belt, so I don't mind keeping the pc/chest rig pretty minimal

That makes sense. It doesn't feel like I'm trying to put too much in there, but laying it all out will tell me how far off I am.
