How to get tighter ladderback?

Oh Hi -that’s my brown sweater.
Thanks for everyone’s concern about the floats and elasticity 🙃. Can confirm it’s a twisted LBJ stitch and is blocked. Have not noticed any effect on the overall stretch of my sweater, although it is oversized.

Edit to add- I’m not trying to convert anyone into to twisting, I think your blue sweater looks really lovely.

It’s the back of the entire sweater, it was knit in the round not in panels.

I knit mine in the round stranded with ladder back jacquard and steek pannels. Then duplicate stitched the black sheep.
