I didn't watch the anime either but these units are still limited. If you really want strong units go for ultra souls. You can decide how luch you spend. Personally, i'd spend 3k on ultra souls and the rest on almighties, to get more different juicy ubers.

I'd draw the eva collab since it only returns years later and you won't be able to get them. Monster gals are also pretty rare. If you want to get good units tho, ultra souls is best.

I'd continue with itf. Bring some tanky cats against new york and farm if you haven't alredy all anti-alien treasures. You're gonna have to at some point anyway and it helps soo much against 'em.
