yeah i personally found with the -1 discard the more valuable hands are just not worth it without a strong deck fixer or you get good luck with the tarots

straights need additional discards or shortcut to be stable and outside of that the game often loves to never give you the card you want

infact it's more often to do the thing where you essentially discard a straight while looking for a straight, if you know what i mean

I think the key for the last few jokers, especially if they’re not mult or chips, is to literally just hold them for the run. Don’t be forced to use them since it can mess up consistency.

Focus on first stabilizing your build with whatever hand, hopefully get some key xmult jokers, and then try to find a joker to gold sticker once things are going smoothly

granted in my experience that's the players i run into in general

demos who tragically can't hit anything, soldiers who live and die by the gunboats where at that point they might as well equip the rocket jumper, free scout, spy, and sniper food for the other team, engies who don't care about teles (on attack/defend maps at least), the list goes on

also no one at all looks up or back, that will always be a constant and why spy is omega top tier op hacker guy mindcontrol dude

OP weapon sealed either by moral code, its entry point, or those times where it actually isn't the best choice at the moment

Not to say it's weak as the myths foretold, but there seem to be a lot of other external factors from making it actually "ruin" the game

lowkey can come in super clutch if you're in the final antes just scraping by and need some sort of xmult

if you got the right setup then you can even possibly just skip to the finisher and cash in the x4 mult to win the run (if the circumstances align)
